One of the goals of a "One Small Step" conversation is for participants to understand why people have the political beliefs they have.

In this conversation, we’ll hear from Washington state senators Karen Keiser, who is a Democrat, and John Braun, who is a Republican. They have worked across the aisle and through disagreements over the years, and they are very familiar with the other’s political beliefs.
