One Week Season

Hey OWS Fam!

We talked through some macro slate elements and then took a deeper look at Carolina/Houston, Washington/Philly, and Giants/Jets. After that, we built a roster around a story of "Houston scores a lot of points against Carolina," taking C.J. Stroud, Nico Collins, and Dameon Pierce, and pairing this stack with Adam Thielen and D.J. Chark. This opened our salary to round out the roster with George Kittle, A.J. Brown, and Isiah Pacheco.

Hey OWS Fam!

We ended up working through thoughts on the slate, breaking down some thoughts on high-owned players (Lamar Jackson, Geno Smith, Kenneth Walker, Josh Jacobs, etc.), exploring the question of "what's going wrong with Jacobs/Davante," talking through some overlooked spots (Cleveland Browns), etc.

JMToWin dives into the upcoming Week 7 slate, examining the macro state of the slate and looking at the sharpest ways to think through roster construction in a quest for a top finish.

Hey OWS Fam!

This week Mike and Maximus break down Mike's Week 6 tournament lineups that finished 2nd out of over 71,343 entries and 2nd out of 19,607 entries on Draftkings. Mike talks about his roster construction and player selection process while the guys also talk about how to handle late swap when you're in contention or trying to sneak into the cash line. Maximus breaks down his early-week roster for his Fanduel tournament that focuses on a Rams stack and Mike gives feedback on game theory for an interesting Week 7 slate.

Hey OWS Fam!

We talked about the state of this slate from a macro sense and a "how to attack it" sense, and then started our roster with a Rams overstack (Stafford, Zach Evans, Kupp, Nacua), filling out the rest of the roster with a low-priced RB, Jonnu Smith, and a couple mid-range wide receivers.

I built a practice build focusing on my "high-confidence pieces" — talking through my typical roster construction approach at this point in the week, and exploring some of my favorite spots on the slate.

I started with a Stafford // Kupp // Ertz block, then added in a couple high-confidence running backs in Swift and Kamara. I went with a sharp value piece in Drake London, then broke down the passing attacks of the Jags and Vikings before pulling a piece from each of those teams in Kirk and Addison. Roster rounded out with Buccaneers defense.

Hey OWS Fam!

This week Maximus had a roster that was focused on a Justin Fields stack and had multiple elite wide receivers on it. We talked about the viability of his stacking partners and how to account for which of them made sense in different tournament sizes. We also talked about the scoring settings on Fanduel, how important touchdowns are, and how we can look to exploit the variance they provide. Finally, I dove into the need to be aware of salary allocation for mini-correlations and what you need to happen for various duos to work.
