OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder joins Kyle Meredith to talk about Artificial Paradise, the band's new album.

Tedder discusses the new approach the band took when writing and recording Artificial Paradise, explaining why the feel of the record is so different from OneRepublic's past releases. He touches on the references in "I Ain't Worries," the dark origin of "Last Holiday," and their decision to change the tracklist 48 hours before submitting the final version.

Elsewhere, Tedder talks about his recent chart-topping collaboration with David Guetta before previewing what's next for him and his band. Not only does he have the next OneRepublic in mind already, but he's also planning his first ever solo album, name checking LCD Soundsystem and Radiohead as influences.
