Jason from @bourbon.and.smoke joins the crew for our second review in the Texas review series. We are reviewing the Garrison Brothers small batch. And we talk about his venture into social media, his “baby glen(carin)” and we dig into a little bit about his love for Pinhook like ours. And Vinnie is not a fan of corn…. Post episode we also have fun with a Reddit rating scale. Jason will have to come back on to talk more Pinhook!

The crew welcomes Bourbon Barry for this weeks episode. We talk science, how he got into social media, our wives tolerance for us and how we are looking for a liquor store wherever we go now.

Albert and Zack review a bottle from Old Line Distillery out of Baltimore. This is an American Single Malt whiskey that we felt deserved a review. See what we think and we talk a little about Whiskey Riot Festival in Tampa and Buffalo and see if we can convince Albert to go to Tampa as well.

The boys are ready for the new year as they catch up from the holidays and talk about the releases they are looking forward to this. And Albert bought a few bottles over the break.

The gang gets the opportunity to interview a brand new whiskey company just after their first release. Rob and David let us in on the process and the hassle of getting their brand approved. But they are excited about it and share all the details. We also get to know them a lot and their love for bourbon. These guys give us a few good laughs and don’t hold back. Thank you Rob and David!

The guys discuss the year end awards and which ones actually matter. Anywhere you go you can see a certain whiskey has won a certain award, but what is the most legit? We also talk about some of our favorites from this year and we finally recap the Bourbon Trail trip that got us all hooked on bourbon.

The whole crew is together with their holiday spirit and sweaters! We recap the year on some of our favorite moments and bourbon. And we remember a friend who would have been extremely proud of us and this podcast.

Albert and Zack take some time for the holiday to spend with their dads. And what better way to do it than review the highly rated Elijah Craig Barrel Proof C923. It took us a while to get this bottle so we are little behind in the game on this one. They also talk about their times in Kentucky and bourbon trail experiences. And Scott raced a horse? But Albert and I may be replaced soon on the podcast by Al and Scott.
