Cindy Mills did not grow up in a generational RA family. She was accessed through a babysitter at the tender age of 4. In what was probably a Santeria group, Cindy silently endured two years of terrifying abuse. Hear her story and how it set her up to join The Way International at age 18. She felt it was safer than being in the Catholic Church with the iconography of her abuse. TWI became another group to escape. Finally, she found the true Lord Jesus Christ and He set her free. I am so honored to bring to you 19-year-old Valerie. She is a friend of mine who has a lot of wisdom to share as a young survivor of SRA. It's astounding how much she has figured out at such a young age. Maybe it's because the years have not confused her. Maybe it's because denial hasn't set in. She did not allow her zest for life to be stolen from her. Her love for God shines through her testimony. Her motto, "I was given two inches" is fascinating and one we can all hold onto. Jesus and the apostles used the name of Jesus when they prayed, yet many in the church today have taken to "pleading the blood" or believing they have to use the blood of Jesus to scare away demons. This is a ritualistic and occultic idea that has infiltrated the church. The whole idea is against the name of Jesus. It is time to take this out of our prayer lives and bring back the power of the name of Jesus in the way in which it is intended.

Sharon Rose began having memories of abuse in 1994. She was horrified to find out that she had been abused up to the age of 6. As she researched into her family, she found out her grandfather was a member of a secret society. The SRA was hard to heal from and she found healing through praise and worship of her true "God Dad." Find out why she hates the term "survivor." Sharon's heart for her God Dad and His healing of her heart is beautiful in her journey. He truly left the 90 and 9 to rescue her.

Rebecca Davis joins us today for a wonderful conversation on how to become a helper. There are so many caring listeners who have asked how to step in to the lives of survivors to make a difference. Rebecca brings practical advice to make the steps understandable and doable for anybody who is willing to increase their capacity and listen to the pull on their heart. The interesting idea is that this will not only help with sra survivors, but this increases our compassion for the hurting people who are around us every day.
