Hello you!
Episode 3 is here, and it's a beauty! Well, I say beauty, I mean more 7/10 on a really good day, falling to 5/10 when a bit tired and feeling down. But we're all beautiful in our way, so don't be little Mr / Miss Judgey Pants and be embrace what we're offering.
Fun fact - tried to use that as a chat up line once. Didn't work.
Anyway, in this episode, we play Bollocks or Not and it's the last ever Badly Sung Song Lyrics game - awwww! We also discuss the Tory leadership race and why it's a classic case of whoever wins, we all lose. Then it's the gun control laws - or lack of - in the US, and we talk about why the 2nd ammendment was created in the first place, and why it's not fit for purpose anymore in the modern world, before finishing with some very sobering statistics.
It's another does of facts, fun and fart noises that manages to be both entertaining and thought provoking, only spoilt by Logan's whiny, nasal drone taking up far too much of the air time.
Treat. Yourself.

Aiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.
I'm so street.
Here we go again, with another booze powered episode stacked with useless facts, crap jokes and Logan bullying poor old Robbo.
We kick off with the Bollocks or Not challenge - Logan leads the series 3-2, can Robbo answer enough questions correctly to tie the scores?
By way of a quick segue to McDonalds and their business practices, we talk about the darker side of fairy tales, and the very disturing parts of the original stories that Disney wisely decided not to adapt.
Everyone's favourite moronic, lunatic conspiracy theorist is next, as we talk about why Alex Jones is on trial, and what could happen at the end of it, and I think you can guess how sympathetic we are to him and what he's going through. The massive twat.
And our main topic is Bigfoot or Sasquatch as he / she is also known. What's the history - when were the first sightings reported, is it real, what's the evidence, what could it be if it IS real and what could it be if it's not. It's a fascinating discussion and not to be missed. Honest.
Get yourself the drink of your choice - squash is acceptable, promise - and treat your ears to another OSD laugh and fact fest.

It’s Season 2, Episode 2!
So what are we up to this week, other than thinking we’re more talented and funnier than we actually are?
We’ve got Bollocks or not, and this week the positions are reversed. Logan handed Robbo’s spotty backside to him last week, so Robbo will be out for revenge. Can he guess whether the questions Logan asking are bollocks or not?
We also – briefly, so those of you who only listen in for the knob gags and petty arguing can rest easy - discuss the Government plan to send migrants to Rwanda…you can probably guess where we both stand on this one, ahem.
It’s then onto the main subject of the week, which this week is UFO’s. What’s their history – when was the earliest recorded sighting, what evidence is there for them, what IS Area 51, are they real, are we alone? We try to answer this, but as usual it devolves into alleged witty banter and attempt to one-up each other in terms of volume and swearing. Bloody good discussion though.
And then it’s Badly Sung Lyrics, with Robbo taking the chair to “sing” (say) the lyrics. With last episode’s tragically over the top attempt to actually sound like a half decent singer from Logan still fresh in his mind, Robbo quite sensibly takes the opportunity to not make an arse of himself.
Wise man.

We’re baaaaaaaaaaaaack!
It’s more Only Slightly Drunk and Only Slightly Funny and Not Even Slightly Interesting goodness!
And in Season 2, there’s less guests, and more US! Yay! (Not).
Kicking things off in Episode 1, we start with Bollocks or Not? Can Robbo outwit Logan with his tricky trivia? Probably, Logan is stooopid.
We talk about Elon Musk trying to buy Twitter, and rather fittingly segue into a discussion about conspiracy theories, with a slight detour into race and class war (don't worry, we're still drinking and it's still funny).
Why? Why do so many people believe them, especially in the current climate, and do any of them make any sense – could they be true?
From there, it’s a short, spooky OSD original ghost story that’s sure to tingle the spine and shiver the brain stem, especially with Robbo’s added special sound effects.
And then we go into the home straight with Badly Sung Lyrics, a new game where one of us – in this case Logan – embarrasses himself by singing a snippet of song lyrics, and Robbo has to guess the song and the artist. The best bit about this is Logan trying to pretend it’s all a joke when he’s clearly taking it very seriously and trying to actually sing properly.
Does he succeed in sounding good? What do you f**ing think? Of course he doesn’t.

Welcome to another OSD!
Christmas is nearly here, and at OSD Towers we're seeing in the festive season in the compay of the super talented Gareth Howells from the band Bemis.
Over cups of tea, a few glasses of wine and some cider, we talk to Gareth about his life long love affair with music, his wonderful family, his passion for song writing and performing, and why he thinks Roger Rabbit killed JFK.
Bemis are playing a full band gig with support acts at the Wedgewood Rooms on Sunday 19th December, doors open at 6.30pm. Get your tickets here - https://www.wedgewood-rooms.co.uk/events/2021-12-19-the-wedgewood-rooms

It's time to get Only Slightly Drunk again, and it's part 2 of our chat with John Bishop - and the tone turns considerably lighter as the drink really kicks in.
In between glasses of red wine, we continue our Real Ale taste test, grading each out of 5, and eventually come up with a winner - which Real Ale will come out on top?
The Fizz or Flat film is Good Will Hunting, and that leads us to the welcome return of our feature "Who's propping up the bar?" in which we discuss the life, work and genius of the late, great Robin Williams.
From there we power through to our Bollocks or Not trivia round, and can Robbo beat John to take the lead in the series over all, or will John be victorious?
It's another funny, irreverent and at times somewhat surreal chat in the grand old OSD tradition.

If you only ever listen to one episode of our podcast series, please make it this one.
John Bishop joins us for a chat about his experience with mental health. He talks in a honest and powerful way about his struggles with depression, anxiety and addiction, and, ultimately, emotional redemption and the impact of the love of his life.
Of all the podcasts we've done, this was the most impactful. Raw, emotional and insightful. John leaves no stone unturned in talking about what he feels caused his decline, and talks about the steps he's taken to get better and be better.
It's a real story of heartache, and, ultimately, hope.
Hope. That's my favourite word...if you have hope, you have the belief that tomorrow can always be better. And while it's not always as simple as just believing that, if you keep believing it, you'll never give up, ever.
If you have any interest in men's mental health, whether your own or somebody that you care about, please listen. This episode will absolutely sing to you.
We also taste test some real ales, and in Part 2 engage in our usual shenanigans, coming soon.

It's part 2 of our chat with business, fitness and body building legend Stuart Crowther.
This was recorded the morning after we went out for karaoke and drinks, so there are some sore heads and croaky voices, but we manage to power through.
In this episode from the hub of OSD Towers, we quiz Stuart on who killed JFK, play our seminal game Twat or Not? and find out how Stuart would monetise an elephant.
We finish by talking to Stuart about his two major business ventures, the all natural fitness and workout recovery oil Muscle Mend made from 100% pure botanical oils, that's being used by more and more by gym members and elite sports people - including most recently Rio Ferdinand - and the athleisure clothing brand Adrenaline, quality clothing made with care.
You can find the web links to the brands below, and if you enter OSD20 at the checkout, you'll receive a special OSD listeners discount of 20%. Awesome.
Thank you Stuart for being an awesome, interesting and inpsiring guest! Can't wait to have you back on.

Finally, we close the show by playing a brand new Christmas charity single called "Fox on the Run" by world renowned DJ and music producer Les Hemstock, the mastermind behind the hit Jive Bunny and the Master Mixers singles.
This the very first public play of the single, something we are immensly proud to say here at OSD Towers. The single is endorsed by Brian May of Queen, and features guitar played by original The Sweet member Andy Scott. All proceeds go to animal charity Save Me Trust.
What does the Fox Rox say? "C'mon everybody, let's rock this party!"

It's another OSD! Logan wanted to call it the "Logan Birthday Special", but he's just a Princess, so was rightly ignored.
We're joined by the legend that is Stuart Crowther; business man, body builder, sometime MMA fighter and fitness and diet guru.
Stuart is with us in part 1 to talk about his approach to fitness and body building, how he sets goals and goes out to achieve them, and his approach to business. He talks very candidly about his mental health, some of the hard times he's experienced during his life's journey, and how he's successfully overcome the odds to rebuild his confidence, launch new businesses and get back to being the best version of himself.
Part 2 coming soon, in which Stuart plays Twat or Not, Bollocks or Not and tells us how he would monetise owning an elephant.
Stuart has two main businesses, the all natural workout and recovery oil Muscle Mend, and the Athleisurewear brand Adrenaline. You can find them both here -
