I met Steven at church, in San Antonio. We were both attending an improv night hosted by my good friend Zac Hickson (Episode 75). He was quick to impress me with his improvisational talents and he has become a fast friend!

Steven is a writer and musician and he has spent over a decade affiliated with the Christian ministry, YWAM (Youth With a Mission). I have gained many friendships and sweet memories with this organization and I was so grateful to talk with him. I deeply appreciate his perspective and his desire for true beauty.

Kartik is a local engineer and a very fast friend. The second time I spent time with Kartik was through an invitation from our mutual friend Nils ( Episode 83). He is an excellent example of understanding the importance of adventure and connection.

Kartik carries himself with a beautiful curiosity and kindness and I am so grateful we were able to spend some time together. He has such an encouraging attitude and I know we could all learn from him.
