Open Phil Broadcast

This month Nadia Stix joins us play some songs and to discuss surviving lockdown on a cruise ship and her crowdfunding for her upcoming album. She is joined on guitar by Gabriel Moraes.

After a long break thanks to a certain pesky virus, a couple of brave musicians came to the studio to share some beautiful songs with us. It's good to back back.

Our last concert went so well, we decided to change the format and continue doing live shows with an audience and integrate the interview. This time we present underground Vienna singer-songwriter MojoKoko!

Southern Peaks dropped by our official grand opening at SkyStudio and blessed us with a lovely set of music. Of course we decided to record a bit of an interview and share it with you all!

Last fall Rusty Egan stopped by while in Vienna to play us some cuts off his new record Welcome to the Remix Vol 2.

From co-host on our show to staring in her own 60s cover band, Lill Oehl finally finds her way back to us while blowing us away with her gripping voice and dashing personality. She introduces us to her friends in this remarkable 60s cover band Blonde on Blonde.

This band was certainly one of the big highlights of our show until now. They came into our studio and recorded five songs live. Seven musicians, horns, accordion, keyboard, acoustic, electric, bass and drums... they just knocked me back in my chair and I knew I needed to stay close to this band. They decided to burn the recording session onto compact discs and hand them out at shows. It wasn't long until the radio station caught on and started playing them. Now, they're coming back to record an album. We love these guys!

In this episode we look at three different artists and what they have recorded at our in-house recording studio, SkyStudio.

In February of 2019 we had Southern Peaks drop by SkyStudio and also The Candy Experience. It was great fun to talk to them and are happy to finally share this episode with the world 15 months later after it originally aired on Radio Orange in Vienna.

Lisa Kolonovits blew us away a few months back with her songs and covers. We were equally amazed by Session In Her Room. Sorry for taking so long to finally post this episode! Here it is…
