Open Run Episode #185

With no on court chemistry due to injuries, the Lakers have STRUGGLED. I do feel like we’ve been playing possum, though. Trying to rest as much as possible before the big dance starts. Is it too much rest?

Open Run Episode #184

Our owner spoke on her top 5 most important Lakers of all time. Seeing how we have a very in-depth and rich history, I know we can play musical chairs. And it’ll still make sense.

Open Run Episode #183

Free Agency takes place in August. There’s a hometown kid I’m interested in. Is Curry rearranging the cream of the crop when it comes to elite guards? He has the hardware that most don’t have. He’s already considered the best shooter we’ve ever seen. Where does he rank currently? And where will he rank when it’s all said and done?

Paul Pierce, KD, and Kyrie are back in the news. Are we surprised? Why are we still feeding into actions that don’t really matter after a few days? Is it a setup? Is it planned?

Open Run Episode #181

My Bruins showed up in the final 4 against a program that can possibly make history. Our chances of shocking the world were cut short by a March Madness Hail Mary 3-ball. Even with the pain I still saw the joy those players had in the tournament. They fought from being a play-in team and made it all the way to the final 4. A familiar place. Shoutout to the young squad though. Also, shoutout to Stanford’s women basketball team who won their national championship!!! Space Jam 2 is near!!!

Open Run Episode #180

UCLA went from a play-in situation to an elite 8 team in the big dance. It was the combination of late 2nd half defense and pure heart. My Lakers finally signed Drummond. We’re stopping the bleeding. Also, let’s dead the whole Kyrie, KD, and Bron beef…can it be over already? Because it’s a bit corny now.

Open Run Episode #179

UCLA has surprised not just me but the rest of the world with their 3 game winning streak in the tournament. Bron went down with a major ankle injury and AD is nowhere near a return to game mode. Do we panic? And how far can this UCLA squad go? Shoutout to the Pac12 overall.
