Send us some LOVE!
Summary:
In grief we tend to shrink within ourselves at times, a form of protection. Kimberly Brown offers thoughts and tips instead on how to open our hearts in our grief. Kimberly is a meditation teacher, guide and coach with so many ideas and exercises to help along the way.
Notes:
Transformed by practicing traditional Buddhist meditations and contemporary therapeutic techniques, Kimberly teaches others how to create a life of wisdom, love, and compassion—for ourselves, others, and the world. Her book, Navigating Grief and Loss-25 Buddhist Practices to Keep Your Heart Open to Yourself and Others, is definitely one that should be in your hands. Kimberly is a Certified Mindfulness Teacher, Professional Level (CMT-P) with the International Mindfulness Teachers Association, a member of The Mindful Directory, and a graduate of a year-long 200 hour intensive Meditation Teacher Training program (2011). As a Buddhist student of nearly two decades, she regularly participates in silent residential retreats and trains with teachers in the Insight and Tibetan lineages.
