On October 15th 2025 just after 1200AM a man fell from the mezzanine onto the tracks at the Courthouse metro station. It appears they werent pushed by anyone but it is unknown if they fell by accident or intentionally jumped. The man did not land on or come in contact with the 3rd rail nor was he hit by a train. The man went unconscious as soon as he hit the ground but regained consciousness by the time paramedics arrived however he was reported as being red-taggedbasically critical conditionupon being removed from the track bed. Once he was taken to the hospital Metro Transit police assumed command of the scene. It is unknown what his condition was upon arriving at hospital nor is it known if he survived his injuries or was pronounced dead at the hospital.
