Lou interviews special guest Nick Lewin about the current state of the economy. Nick is a Chief Investment Officer and Founding Partner of Crown Predator Holdings. Lou discusses a new high tech security system that will change airport security forever but has yet to be approved by the government. Next, they speak about the recent crypto problem. How did this happen? What's to prevent something like this from happening again? Is there any reason to use crypto except for breaking the law? What about Blockchain? Do we want a world where the government can see every transaction that you do?

From a Wall Street perspective is a divided government better? And why? When there is a stalemate in government what you get is predictability. Do we have the ability to supply the electric car demand? Are the batteries environmentally friendly? Do we have enough nickel to make these batteries? What about the rolling blackouts in California where the state asks people not to charge their cars? Should we be building more nuclear reactors? Lou welcomes special guest Eliott Ackerman. He is the author of the novels 2034, Red Dress In Black and White, Waiting for Eden, Dark at the Crossing, and Green on Blue, as well as the memoir Places and Names: On War, Revolution and Returning. His books have been nominated for the National Book Award, the Andrew Carnegie Medal in both fiction and non-fiction, and the Dayton Literary Peace Prize among others. He is both a former White House Fellow and Marine, and served five tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan, where he received the Silver Star, the Bronze Star for Valor, and the Purple Heart.

They discuss the United States's exit in Afghanistan and how we just left the women and children behind with no protection. The United States made twenty years of promises both in our words and actions and we just walked away. It's a blight on our national honor. Why did we have to pull out every last service member? What should be our foreign policy in Afghanistan moving forward? Did the weak NATO response in Afghanistan contribute to Putin's decision to invade Ukraine? Did China witness the debacle of Putin in Ukraine and hold off invading Taiwan?

Eliott gives insight on his book 2034 which is about a hypothetical World War III between China and The United States primarily at sea. What motivated him to write it? Derek from Georgia asks about Donald Trump is suing CNN, claiming defamation and seeking punitive damages of $475m. He claims they smeared him with defamatory labels of ‘racist,’ ‘Russian lackey,’ and ‘Hitler.’ Trump claims they ramped up its attacks in recent months because the network feared that he would run again for president in 2024. Does this lawsuit hold any merit and will CNN back off or keep attacking him?

Lisa from Santa Clarita wants to know with the Hurricane Ian devastation if we'll now see a mass exodus from Florida even though it was called a "hundred year storm?"
