Opinionated Faguettes episodes

  • Eating Disorders, Madonna & Ejecting Babies From Planes

An honest conversation about disordered eating, Madonna, and an airline rant that might get them added to a watchlist. Welcome to Opinionated Faguettes, with Pixel the Drag Jester and Scott Dennis, aka Madame Vivien V.

They kick things off with Scott’s experience of cutting out alcohol, meat, dairy, bread, and eventually all nutrition. Then they catch up on the preparations for Flirty Riot, a cirque variety show in Newburgh, NY, and Pixel revisit being voted “most likely to be famous” in high school.

As the gay gods demand, Madonna is talked about at length, until finally, they tackle air travel. Why does boarding protocol make zero sense, and what can be done about screaming children. Their proposals get increasingly ridiculous, unpractical, and entertaining. Enjoy!

  • RuPaul, Miranda Sings & a Closet Full of Opinions

This week Pixel the Drag Jester and Scott (aka Madame Vivien V) are clearing the drag closet, figuratively and literally.

As Scott’s time as a drag performer winds down, he gives Pixel some of his most beloved treasures & costumes as they debate the efficacy of ASMR, and revisit their “lay off RuPaul” stance.

They also get personal about grief and addiction before tackling Colleen Ballinger / Miranda Sings, online fandom, boundaries, and the language of “grooming.”

Drag treasures. Tough conversations. Still plenty to argue about.

  • Turkey Nightlife, Taxi Hookups & the Tall Tax

From kicklines to a taxi hookup in Turkey, the Faguettes discuss a friend’s nose-job trip, Istanbul gay nightlife, and why airlines should not be charging extra for leg room if you are a certain height.

They also dive into a conversation about a Hell’s Kitchen hookup that goes sideways, and we get candid about this problematic girl named Tina, psychosis, and rehab - thank gawd for D.A.R.E.

All in all a standard Opinionated Faggots episode.

  • Burning Man Relapse, RuPaul Defended & the Great Douching Debate

From shoes on the couch, to suspicious hotel review schemes, we take every wrong turn possible before getting into Scott’s return from Burning Man. We have a candid conversation about sobriety, and what it means to recognize when an environment is no longer good for you. Then the gloves come off as we discuss RuPaul, festival hookups, douching anxiety, and the eternal question: how much preparation is too much?

A standard Opinionated Faguettes episode where nobody fully agrees, everyone says too much, and somehow we’re all laughing.

  • I’m Quitting Drag and Sh*ting in Walmart

Welcome back! Yes, we actually made it back for a second episode.

Scott Dennis, aka Madame Vivien V, along with Pixel the Drag Jester, are here to give you more!

This week, we talk about grief, family, and the weird little ways life insists on life-ing. Pixel reflects on attending his best friend’s mother’s memorial, while Scott opens up about his grandmother’s death, dementia, and the brutal reality of saying goodbye. Naturally, because this is Opinionated Faguettes, the conversation also swerves into shady reads, chaotic stories, trauma, and unhinged admissions.

Then we get into the rumor mill. After 14 years as Madame Vivien V, Scott addresses stepping away from drag, with his final show planned for November 21 at House of Yes. He’s pivoting into stand-up comedy, because apparently one unstable performance art wasn’t enough.

For this episode’s Hot Thot, Pixel and Scott ask the question every queer person has silently (and not so silently) screamed into the void: Why are straight people at the gay bar? Do queer venues need a vibe check at the door? From straight bachelorette energy to people treating LGBTQ+ nightlife like a zoo exhibit, we debate how to protect queer spaces without building a velvet rope around the entire rainbow.

It’s chaotic, it’s queer, it is quintessential ‘faguettes’.

  • Grandma’s Vibrator, Alcoholism, & Drag Brunch

Pixel — drag jester, chaos goblin, and self-appointed problem-not-haver — joins Scott Dennis, aka Madame Vivien V, for the first episode of Opinionated Faguettes, a podcast about two performers who allegedly don’t like each other attempting personal growth in public.

The debut episode kicks off exactly where all healthy friendships begin: with drugs, alcohol, denial, recovery, and a missing tooth. Scott talks about being eight months sober, while Pixel insists they definitely don’t have a problem — then immediately shares multiple blackout stories, including a work incident and a drunken San Francisco hill catastrophe that ended in dental reconstruction. Case closed? Absolutely not.

The two rewind to how they met as resident artists at House of Yes, where territorial drag instincts, brunch warfare, tipping drama, and “why are we doing Medieval Times but make it gay?” energy eventually led to a drag brunch, Glitter Unicorn Sparkle Spectacular, and several emotionally educational rehearsal fights.

Things get surprisingly tender — and then immediately unhinged — when Pixel and Scott talk about how their grandmothers shaped their drag. Vivian shares stories of inheriting clothes, lingerie, and even a wedding dress from her grandmother, before the conversation swerves into the family discovering Grandma’s corded vibrator after her death. As one does.

It’s messy. It’s opinionated. It’s kinda like brunch without the buffet but all the consequences.
