Welcome back! Yes, we actually made it back for a second episode.
Scott Dennis, aka Madame Vivien V, along with Pixel the Drag Jester, are here to give you more!
This week, we talk about grief, family, and the weird little ways life insists on life-ing. Pixel reflects on attending his best friend’s mother’s memorial, while Scott opens up about his grandmother’s death, dementia, and the brutal reality of saying goodbye. Naturally, because this is Opinionated Faguettes, the conversation also swerves into shady reads, chaotic stories, trauma, and unhinged admissions.
Then we get into the rumor mill. After 14 years as Madame Vivien V, Scott addresses stepping away from drag, with his final show planned for November 21 at House of Yes. He’s pivoting into stand-up comedy, because apparently one unstable performance art wasn’t enough.
For this episode’s Hot Thot, Pixel and Scott ask the question every queer person has silently (and not so silently) screamed into the void: Why are straight people at the gay bar? Do queer venues need a vibe check at the door? From straight bachelorette energy to people treating LGBTQ+ nightlife like a zoo exhibit, we debate how to protect queer spaces without building a velvet rope around the entire rainbow.
It’s chaotic, it’s queer, it is quintessential ‘faguettes’.

Pixel — drag jester, chaos goblin, and self-appointed problem-not-haver — joins Scott Dennis, aka Madame Vivien V, for the first episode of Opinionated Faguettes, a podcast about two performers who allegedly don’t like each other attempting personal growth in public.
The debut episode kicks off exactly where all healthy friendships begin: with drugs, alcohol, denial, recovery, and a missing tooth. Scott talks about being eight months sober, while Pixel insists they definitely don’t have a problem — then immediately shares multiple blackout stories, including a work incident and a drunken San Francisco hill catastrophe that ended in dental reconstruction. Case closed? Absolutely not.
The two rewind to how they met as resident artists at House of Yes, where territorial drag instincts, brunch warfare, tipping drama, and “why are we doing Medieval Times but make it gay?” energy eventually led to a drag brunch, Glitter Unicorn Sparkle Spectacular, and several emotionally educational rehearsal fights.
Things get surprisingly tender — and then immediately unhinged — when Pixel and Scott talk about how their grandmothers shaped their drag. Vivian shares stories of inheriting clothes, lingerie, and even a wedding dress from her grandmother, before the conversation swerves into the family discovering Grandma’s corded vibrator after her death. As one does.
It’s messy. It’s opinionated. It’s kinda like brunch without the buffet but all the consequences.
