Bret Taylor (Twitter, LinkedIn) has had a remarkable career as a tech entrepreneur. He founded FriendFeed, one of the first social networks, co-created Google Maps, served as the CTO of Facebook, and is currently the President and Chief Product Officer at Salesforce. Throughout his journey, he learned how to adapt and innovate. And he also learned the importance of an optimistic outlook, even in the face of what some might perceive as failure.
“The thing that I want to come back to is just the optimism around the opportunities that technology affords. I think that's why it's so fun to be an entrepreneur, because every time you think all the good ideas have been taken, another technology shift happens and an incredible new businesses get created. And so, I think it's always a good time to think about new opportunities to start businesses, and innovate where other people haven't.”
