On March 5, 2026, the Multiple Myeloma Hub held a virtual symposium, titled Optimizing dosing of BCMA-directed therapies for improved quality of life in multiple myeloma. During the symposium, Hang Quach, St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne and University of Melbourne, Melbourne, AU, delivered a presentation on optimizing dosing strategies for B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA)-directed therapies in multiple myeloma (MM).
In this presentation, Quach discusses the importance of dose modification in the real-world use of BCMA-directed therapies and emphasizes the need to balance efficacy and safety with long-term quality of life (QoL). Quach outlines dosing strategies for belantamab mafodotin and bispecific antibodies, and shares key clinical and patient-reported outcome data demonstrating the impact of dose adaptation on toxicity and QoL.
