Noah was a man who walked with God. Though he was not perfect, he was a man who did his best to do what was right, and led his family to do the same. It was because of Noah’s leadership that his family was saved in the ark when all the other people in the world were destroyed in the flood.

In this introductory material for the book of Revelation, we spend a great deal of time considering different approaches to the book of Revelation, and the strengths and weaknesses of each one. It is also important to keep in mind the main message of the book, and to give diligence to the study to be able to understand.

A beatitude is a statement of blessing. Though we commonly think of the list in Matthew 5, there are beatitudes throughout the Bible. There are seven statements of blessing in Revelation, and in this lesson, we look at four of them.
Family is the cornerstone of society, and one of the first institutions created by God. Adam and Eve, the first husband and wife serve as a template for marriage, but also as a warning against sin. Their family, like all of ours, wasn’t perfect, but there is still much we can learn from them.

The last book of the Bible is often one of the most misunderstood, and because of its difficulty, one of the most neglected. As we begin this class, we want to take an approach that will give us a right understanding, but also take away some of the fear of studying Revelation. As we introduce our study, we will look at five rules for a successful study. We will consider two of those rules in this study.

Many believe that Jesus instructed Christians to never judge in Matthew 7, but in this lesson we will review some times when it is necessary to judge. Then we will look at exactly what Jesus was forbidding, before being reminded that one day we must all stand before the judgement seat of Christ.

Though the Bible doesn’t use the phrase “go to heaven,” when talking about the Christian’s eternal reward, it is how we humans often express our desire for eternal life. In 2 Thessalonians 2, Paul reassured the brethren regarding the second coming of Jesus, and then expressed his confidence in their being ready for that day.

Our focus in this quarter has been on things that Christians are to do for one another, as instructed through the Scriptures. This final lesson focuses on several passages which shows us some things we should not do.
