  • Episode 38: Spring Has Sprung
In the thirty-eighth episode of Otaku Brothers, Rusty and Ryan do a complete breakdown of each season of Game of Thrones in preparation for the Season 8 premiere on Sunday, April 12th. They of course kick off the show with the games they’ve been playing recently. Rusty finishes Telltale Games The Walking Dead series, revisits Banjo Kazooie, and falls in love with Dark Souls 3. Ryan continues his journey with Sekiro, and balances the many deaths with a little game called Yoshi’s Crafted World. Travis also writes into the show because he’s contractually obligated to do so. Enjoy the episode! Please note: This is part 1 of 2 of the Game of Thrones special. Part 2 will be released Wednesday, April 10th and will include our predictions for Season 8, favorite characters, and more Ryan jokes.

  • Episode 37: They Signed Me Up Because I Had a Beard
In the thirty-seventh episode of Otaku Brothers, Rusty opens the show sharing his negative views of Fantastic Beasts. Ryan convinces him to give Newt Scamander a second chance after casting a quick Obliviate spell. Rusty also plays The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for the first time. Spoiler alert: He loves it. The guys also gush over their early impressions of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. Finally, Rusty and Ryan finish their discussion of the Otaku Brothers March Madness Bracket, but not before Rusty explains why Diddy Kong Racing is objectively better than Mario Kart 64, only to be interrupted by Ryan (per usual) sharing the time he almost became a Hollywood movie star. Enjoy the episode!

  • Episode 36: Mount Olympus is the Limit
In the thirty-sixth episode of Otaku Brothers, Rusty opens the show recounting his terrifying encounter with the lovechild of Aragog and Shelob. Ryan and Rusty go on to talk about spiders for far too long. Later, they of course debate the right side of the Otaku Brothers March Madness bracket. Like Game of Thrones characters, don’t get too attached to your favorite games. Ryan and Rusty are not afraid to axe some of the greats. Enjoy the episode!

In the thirty-fourth episode of Otaku Brothers, Ryan and Rusty are back to their normal schedule. They open the show with their first hot take impressions about the newest generation of Pokemon. Later in the show Rusty convinces Ryan to buy Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom, before Ryan steps in and shares the fan fiction Kingdom Hearts 3 Secret Ending Part 358/2.9 Days + Re:2Chainz of Memories. • Episode 33: He Showed Up and He Participated
In the thirty-third episode of Otaku Brothers, Ryan and Rusty celebrate the fact that, even if you don’t have that special someone to watch Notting Hill with on Valentines Day, Nintendo will swing in and save the day with a Nintendo Direct. After gushing about the slew of great announcements, the guys dive deep into the speculation Sarlacc Pit. Not only do they debate Last Jedi (again...), but they also share a number of bold predictions and hopes for Episode IX. Enjoy the episode!

  • Episode 32: Nonsensical, Got it Memorized?
In the thirty-second episode of Otaku Brothers, Ryan and Rusty are finally back with just the two of them! They take quite a few listener questions, and even an audio question, before they do a deep dive into all things Kingdom Hearts 3. Rusty was a bit more forgiving with most aspects of the game, but as listeners should have come to expect by now, Ryan enjoys sharing his opinions loudly and with great savagery. Enjoy the episode!

  • Episode 31: More Gyoza, Please
In the thirty-first episode of Otaku Brothers, Ryan returns from Japan with quite a few stories to share. Lauren also joins the show this week, and while the majority was those two gushing about their adventures in Japan, Rusty didn’t mind all too much. Ryan returned bearing several Kingdom Hearts related gifts for him, so he just wept tears of joy in the corner somewhere. Enjoy the episode!

  • Episode 30: That's the Power of the Keyblade
In the thirtieth episode of Otaku Brothers, Rusty and Ryan take on the arduous task of explaining and making sense of the entirety of Kingdom Hearts’ story. Before that, they scoff at the seemingly plausible leaked Smash Ultimate DLC characters, and of course discuss the games they’ve been playing recently.
Finally, the guys take a Gummi Ship straight into the Twilight Zone (Town), with no signs of returning. They first rank all of the Kingdom Hearts games, then explain the story for each game in the series, and finally discuss their hopes and dreams for the soon to be released Kingdom Hearts 3. Enjoy the episode!

  • Episode 29: Milk Thistle is My New Best Friend
In the twenty-ninth episode of Otaku Brothers, Ryan takes a back seat and rests before his trip to Japan. Instead, Rusty is joined by long-time friend of the show, Rusty’s wife and Ryan’s sister, Lauren! The two talk Super Mario Sunshine, Super Mario Party, and a little game called Poi.
Rusty also suggests 5 games for Lauren to play throughout the 2019 year, all of which come from different consoles. After that, the two dive into listener questions, discuss recent gaming news…and even have a little fun, embarrassing segment while Ryan is away. Enjoy the episode!
