In This Episode of Otaku Summit, The guys jump right in into a little review/first impression of Akudama Drive since they just watched it before the recording. Chaos talks about some shows that he is watching like The Boys season 1 and other shows that they might watch. Jojo and Chaos talk a bit about The Great Pretender getting a new season in which they talk about how great the first season is and how unique the anime can be. Steve introduces some good news for the Demon Slayer movie while he talks a bit about how the fanbase will go nuts when they watch the movie. The group ends up talking about some of the most toxic anime fanbases that can be annoying or over the top. They review Jujutsu Kaisen episodes 2-3 while talking about the things they have loved from this anime and what makes it different enough to enjoy. Lastly, Chaos, Steve, and Jojo review episode 2 of Ikebukuro West Gate Park which is an anime about a Tokyo gang which has Chaos excited.

In the Anime News sections, They cover the Fate, Live-Action Monster Hunter, Dr. Stone: Stone Wars, and My Hero Academia season 5 trailers. Giving their thoughts and hopes on what the trailers mean for the show or movie and if they are excited about anything they see. During the Otaku Question, They talk about the struggles of doing an anime podcast that releases episodes weekly, They all mention their issues and thoughts on doing their first podcast. The Anime Review sections have them talking about Burn The Witch which has them confused about how they released the anime baiting a sequel when it was just average. The last thing they talk about is episode 1 of Jujutsu Kaisen that has them intrigued about the characters and story so far.

On This Episode of Otaku Summit, Steve and Chaos talk a little trash about the NBA finals since their teams are facing each other. Steve talks about his terrible week of pure sadness and not talking about Re: Zero just yet but what happened at work. In the Anime new section, because this is an anime podcast they talk about New season of World Trigger, Noblesse anime coming from Crunchyroll which they talk about and the Re: Zero Season 2 part 2 trailer is talked about. The guys discuss which anime they will be picking up to review for this Fall season. Jujutsu Kaisen is the only one that is a sure thing they will watch, Everything else they must look into because there are some hidden gems this season from what they can see. In the review section, they talk about God of Highschool final episode and the whole season that they have experienced which has them thinking it was a big disspointedment but was it trash? Now what we have been waiting for, THe Re: Zero final episode of the season which has the guys thinking this was the best season and it can get even better with the upcoming season!

Jojo, Steve, and Chaos go through the Fall list of anime and name some anime that look promising that they might check out. In the Anime review section, The guys talk about the season of God of Highschool and how much they think the pacing held back the anime. Lastly, They talk about Re Zero season 2 and how much this season has been nothing but sadness and pain. They also talk a lot about the new trailers for season 2 of Dr. Stone and the 2nd trailer for Jujutsu Kaisen. They give their thoughts about some Otaku Questions they came in from the listeners which include "What anime recommendations do yall got that are short, around 15 episodes?" and they also answer more questions. In the anime review section, They talk about God of Highschool and how they feel like the action is nice but then that is really it that they enjoy. They want the anime to slow down a bit and expand on its characters and better writing. The boys get into Re: Zero episodes 9 talking about how the sadness never stops when it comes to this anime and now we got a lot of questions! To start off the episode we get an update on whats everyone been doing and find out Chaos been watching a lot of sad anime. On the anime news side of things they talk about the Last Airbender live action show on Netflix because the original creators left and now people are worried. Steve and Blvck talk about their One Piece journey since it was announced that it will be over in about 4 to 5 years. Blvck brings up the Crunchyroll produced animes that fall short of expectations or just not that exciting to begin with. In the Anime review section, The guys talk about episodes 7-8 of God of Highschool and discuss its problems that hold the anime back from being really good. Chaos and Steve talk about what has been going on in the NBA since its been back and break some news live on the podcast. They talk about the excitement building up for Promised Neverland season 2 since they released a visual tease of it. The group also gives their thoughts on Yashahime: Princess Hlaf-Demon trailer (The Inuyasha sequel), It has them interested but also worried about how they will handle the new series. Steve, Jojo and Chaos talk about the rumor going around the net about Solo Leveling becoming an anime and they talk about what sstudio should tackle it and give some thoughts on the manga. Otaku Question this week is "Should anime season release 1 shonen anime per season that way it can grab more attention to that anime?" the answer is surprising and thoughtful. They go over which great anime can disappear which has some triggering moments cause by Chaos. In the Anime Review section, they talk about episode 4 of God of Highschool and Re-Zero. There is no Anime News section this week since the Otaku Summit has a lot to talk about and there was very little news. This makes up for some toxic and interesting topics on what the guys like. Everyone talks about their honorable mentions and some anime got left out that might trigger some people. Anime Reviews consist of Fire Force Episode 3, Deca Dence episode 3, God of Highschool episode 3, and Re Zero Episode 3. In the anime news, They talk about Inuyasha coming back but discuss other options the anime could have gon instead of the new generation route. They go over a top 25 list of anime made by a popular gaming website that they think was all bad. The list made them think to make their own when they come back for the next episode. In the anime review section, Deca-Dence episode 2 throws a crazy curveball that has the guys thinking to maybe drop the anime. Fire Force episode 2 has Chaos rethinking on if he wants to continue reviewing the anime. God of Highschool episode 2 continues to be a breath of fresh air and just fun to watch.
