Otaku Summit

On This Episode of Otaku Summit, The guys talk about what they have been doing while on break and that leads to Chaos talking about an anime called Japan Sinks: 2020. A sad anime that focuses on a big earthquake hitting Japan which causes mass destruction. During the anime news section Jojo and Chaos can't stop talking about Dungeons & Dragons making Steve want to leave the podcast. A large amount of the episode is reviewing a bunch of new anime that has recently come out like episode 1 of Deca-Dence, Which looks to be a gem of the season so far. Season 2 of Fire Force has a big disappointing episode to start it off. The hype for God of Highschool was deserved based off the first episode of the anime which had lots of fun moments. Lastly, Re: Zero Season 2 is back making us sad for certain characters. We back with some more anime to review and talk about so hope you enjoy this one!

On This Episode of Otaku Summit, The guys get into what they have been up to and Chaos talks about beating Last of Us 2. Then Steve tells us a story that explains the title of the episode which is very random just like this whole episode. In the first part of the anime news the summit talks about Cyberpunk 2077 getting an anime coming to Netflix by Studio Trigger. From this point on the podcast episode goes all over the place with some fun conversation and rants about the tower of god anime. In the Otaku Question section, They talk about how long an anime should be and which would benefit from a long-running season. The guys talk about how disappointing this season of anime has been but it will soon get better with some great anime coming up for the summer. Lastly, The group reviews Tower of God anime season and gives their reasons why they would or won't watch season 2. You guys have been showing a lot of support and we thank everyone for it!

On This Episode of Otaku Summit, They try to get into the anime news that includes Black Clover coming back, Tokyo Revengers anime announced, and One Piece returning after taking a break due to the virus. Things start going off-topic and it causes some funny and interesting moments throughout the episode. A new anime season is coming and it is filled with some amazing anime to look forward too so they talk about what they want to review. Jojo and Steve are looking forward to finally watching Re: Zero season 2 and Chaos is looking forward to Fire Force season 2. The guys hope for Deca-Dence to be the anime gem that ends up high on people's watch lists. Now the crew talks about how Tower of God has been very average up to this point but this episode was actually pretty good. On This Episode of Otaku Summit, The boys are back and have a lot to talk about since the last episode. Chaos has begun to watch Re: Zero to get ready for season 2. Steve and Chaos get spoiled on some anime while look at the news and one of them is about Promised Neverland which the manga has ended. We could be getting a live-action Promised Neverland and steve is done for having hope that it will be good. Jojo and Steve talk about their excitement for Re Zero Season 2 coming out next month and other anime that are coming out like Attack on Titan. The Summit picks out their anime team that they would like to have if they were in an RPG. Chaos and Steve talk about some of the best moments in the Fate series and the mood changes when Tower of God is brought up. The guys talk about how Tower of God anime is beyond mid and has not had any amazing moments. Thank you guys for the support of listening to us talk about anime and just hanging out. 

On This Episode of Otaku Summit, They are joined by the one and only Data Dave who is a streamer on Twitch and getting into voice acting. Everyone gives their thoughts on the anime news section that included The Great Pretender trailer, Attack on Titan Final Season Trailer, and Tokyo Revengers getting an anime. Chaos talks about how he is excited for his 1st manga to read on becoming an anime which is Tokyo Revengers. The Summit puts Data Dave on the hot seat and gets to know what kind of anime taste does he have. Data Dave then makes a hot take on why Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood may not be as good as we thought. They answer "Which tian power from the attack on titan anime would you have and why?" they also get another question which is What kind of antagonist are your favorite and who is your favorite? Lastly, The Summit and Data Dave review Tower of God episode 9 and talk about how the anime is missing a couple of things from the webtoon that is very helpful if they add it in. In the anime news section Jujitsu Kaisen anime was announced so they talk about the trailer and a little bit of the fans from the manga, They also talk about Fire Force season 2 trailer coming out. They get into where Ethos is at on the One Piece manga and when he will update us. They show some love to anime that they feel deserves more love because of how good they are. Steve starts off the anime you would want to rewatch for the first time and an anime that you would want to forget. Chaos, Jojo, and Steve talk about how manga collectibles might not be dying but maybe start to grow. The Summit reviews Tower of God episode 8 and talk about how it was a confusing episode but entertaining. Enjoy this episode!

On This Episode of Otaku Summit, The boys go over some anime news that includes the end of the Demon Slayer Manga which people have been complaining about because it ended badly. Steven talks about one of the sleeper anime that he has been watching "Sing Yesterday for me" and how it reminds him of sad boy stuff. He also gets sad in the news section when he heard about Guilty Gear getting delayed to next year. In the Otaku Questions, They were asked "What is an anime that is universally loved but you think is trash?", Their answers are definitely going to trigger some fans. They answer who is the best henchmen in anime. They get into the anime review of Tower of God episode 7 and discuss their worries about the show and chaos talk about he might not keep watching or reading tower of god. On This Episode of Otaku Summit, The guest of the episode is a Patreon member and his name is Senkon. The group talks about what they have been doing and this brings up how Steve almost got ran over and Senkon is going crazy in quarantine. They also talk a little bit about how HBO Max can improve on the anime section and they wonder why Netflix holds some content out of the US. Chaos, Jojo and Steve ask Senkon some questions about his anime taste and why it might be trash. He brings up Naruto and how some the characters are well written and the debate starts there going into out Otaku Question which is "What would you rather have, A great developed protagonist or a great deloped supporting cast?". They go over some bad and good new generation anime like Boruto. Lastly, Jojo rants about Tower of God episode 6 and how mainly he hates bam for not only being a simp but a bad character. The group talks about some of the best anime fistfights that were impactful to them. They also talk about some of the anime that they have pushed back due to some petty reason and when they finally watched the anime it was better than expected. Chaos has some triggering rants about some of the classic animes that he still hasn't even watched. Steve, Jojo, and Chaos talk about their 4 fiction characters that best describe them and explains why or how they got their answers. Before they get into the Tower of God review Chaos tells the group he is now reading the webtoon and is ahead of the anime. They get into the Tower of God episode 5 and talk about some of the best moments that they enjoyed like the fights but there was one thing that they hated from a certain character. On This Episode of Otaku Summit, The Guys go over the delays that happen over the week. Which include Black Clover anime episodes and Promised Neverland Season 2 moving to next year. They talk about how low-key HBO Max might be the move if you look at what they got and is coming to the streaming platform. Sony is planning on making a Live action One Punch Man film and the guys don't even want to entertain it being a decent movie. They talk about the problems they can see the film having and guess who will play Satima. It is the 31st anniversary of Dragon Ball Z in Japan so they discuss some of their favorite moments from the anime and Is Frieza overrated as a villain? Chaos asks Steve and JoJo "Does reading a Manga excite them or ruin their experience when it gets an anime? Steve introduces the red pill vs blue pill debate of anime and the debate is interesting.
