The path led her to become a lifetime student of metaphysics, mysticism, magick, and spirituality and to achieve a Master’s degree in psychology… and it all shows up in her writing. She is the founder of Wing Academy of Unfoldment, host of Wing Academy Radio, and has written a screenplay based on her novella, Thorne Manor. When it comes to getting unstuck and feeling great about life, her 9-word philosophy is: Let go. Be grateful. Stay open. See the magick.
The episode started welcoming Diane where she readily launched the topic on the difficulty of discovering of our inner magic (4:25). She shares her personal experiences (5:30) where she mentioned about being awed by the magical side of life.
Dell was curious about the reasons behind the struggles our guest went through (7:27) where she shares how she had the desire to discover how to balance her own identity to her parents' idea of who she should be. She further explained that no time is wasted because you learn from experiences (11:22). Dell added that it's only a "wasted time" if you did not get the lesson from it (13:15).
She says that our choices got us to wherever we are in this moment right now (18:34). She further elaborates that we have the choice to get out of our current situation or remain on it (18:52). We just need to be aware of ourselves since self-awareness is the key to everything.
Dell added that there's a lot of external reasons that we can put the blame to on why we came to this moment (20:34) but we should instead take a look within ourselves on why things turn out the way it did. Diane agrees and elaborates, citing examples about having dissatisfaction in your job or in your relationships (21:12) where she advised to look at things differently, being open to all things that might give feedback to the current situation. She then proceeds to talk about manifesting things through the heart (30:15).
Kai was curious on how she got into writing (36:40) and Diane shares that she has been into it since she was a kid. She also describes her personal practices and talks about the books she is currently working on. She mentions the fiction books as well as a non-fiction one, "The 7 Love Patterns That Rule our Relationships" (41:36). This was a combination of years of research and gives a new perspective in understanding our relationship patterns.
They then proceed to talk about Diane's book "The True Nature of Tarot" (45:52) where Diane revealed that her intention in writing the book was to make tarot not scary and accessible to all. She elaborates that the cards only promotes change and these change factors can only be scary if you make it that way (49:03).
She then talks about asking guidance (59:44) where she points out that the universe advocates for us and it's up to us to accept it. She cites her book "The True Nature of Energy", where she talks more about it.
A comment from a viewer launched a discussion about the different and unique paths we go through, on which we do what we need to do, and how others try to insert themselves in these paths (1:01:19).
