This post regards the following:
As children, we have big dreams of grand contributions we will make to society, and in what ways we might help to save the world from peril. As we grow, these dreams fade, and we join the rat race, or whatever other standardized ways of living we might fit into, which seem to directly contradict with our ability to realize our childhood dreams. However complete this spirit dampening and societal normalization might seem, we hold onto our childhood dreams in subtle ways, whether in the careers we choose, the content we create, the ways we help to lead or guide those around us, and generally how we live our lives, albeit more structured in the adult world. In this episode of Our Evening Tea, we talk about this and more, as we try to get closer to answers about if we can have an impact on the world, and if so, how, and if we can not know for certain, what we should do in lieu of certainty.
