Our Foundations Podcast

In order to really look into political structures, we need to asses government as a system. There are certain things that exist in all modern governments that we can look at to help assess "government" on a macro level. These include taxation, rights to freedom or slavery, property rights, fiat money, and war/ defense. This episode will focus on a moral assessment of these things and see if taxation really is theft and "Are we free or slaves?", "Does a government allow us to really own things?", and similar issues.

For the final episode in this series on agorism, I highlight some agorist communities. These groups of people have focused on taking care of themselves without reliance or involvement with the State. The first example is historical with the Taborites, an early reformist group from the 1400s. This leads into other groups that spawned out of the reformation, mainly the anabaptists, including the Menonites, Amish, and Bruderhofs. After this, we take a trip to Mexico and look at how some communities have set up whole market and monetary systems that are local and independent of the State. For another Mexican example, Cheran is a town that kicked out the cartels and the government and opted for self rule. The final community in focus will be Rojava, or The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria. This area has declared independence from all States and is a bastion of liberty and equality in the middle of the oppressive countries of Iran, Turkey, and Syria.

There are many individuals who choose to live out agorist principles in their lives. Some make large impacts in a specific way and some try to implement agorism into their personal lives in every aspect. I'll highlight Lily Forrester and John Galton, Cody Wilson, The Free State Project, and Amir Taaki. Sometimes things work out but often, bucking the State has consequences. The last section of the episode explores some philosophical views of Amir Taaki on ideology paired with sociological views of Petri Sorokin on spiritual and sensate culture paired with agorist philosophy with practical applications.

For the third installment of this series on agorism, I'll cover some more intangible aspects of agorist philosophy. After all, although agorism is action it is also a mindset and promotes learning and activism which are things we can't put our hands on but are invaluable to our success as individuals, families, and communities. This episode covers agorist philosophy from a meta perspective, tech privacy, health (with food, chemicals, electromagnetic pollution, exercise, diet, and more), interacting with kids, parenting, community involvement, supporting the cause, activism and social change, and more.

This is part two of the current series on agorism. The focus in this episode is on ways to keep your independence and self sufficiency in areas other than the basic needs of survival. We all have a certain standard of living we want to maintain. We all have things we want and goals we are working for. This is the first episode in the current series on agorism. Agorism promotes voluntary interaction and transactions, counter economics, local and self reliance, and peaceful societal change. The idea is to live in a way that doesn't involve "the system". Now that we've covered the corruption in governments in the most recent previous episodes, I want to add in information on practical and actionable steps we can all take to avoid the corruption in the system, withdraw support and funding, lessen our reliance on the State, and be more community focused and self sufficient. This episode focuses on the necessities of life and topics include "What is agorism?", how does it apply in action, where you get your food, growing food, having animals, preparedness, generating electricity, catching rain water, and much more.

To wrap up the series on corruption and conspiracy, there's no better topic and theme than the New World Order. You've probably heard the term from world leaders over the past few decades along with a push for globalization, unity, and international regulations. I'll explore what the concept is, what the goals are, and what tools and methods are used or will be used to accomplish these. It sounds great to hear about world peace, ending poverty, and saving the planet but practically, what does this actually mean and involve? Topics also include economic equality, discrimination, environmentalism and global warming, ethnic homogeneity, nationalism, technocracy, cybernetics, and social engineering. 

Prior to covering the New World Order, I go over similar ideologies from Plato and Aristotle. They had views on the relationship between society and the State that are very similar to those behind the New World Order. These include eugenics, social engineering, surveillance, education methods, and more. Times change but ideas are eternal. Human nature is the same as well. The New World Order is a relatively new idea but it's roots lie in very old philosophy.

Eugenics- the science of improving a human population by controlled breeding to increase the occurrence of desirable heritable characteristics. This episode goes over how the idea of eugenics has evolved over history, how it has been implemented, and by whom. We go from Plato to Thomas Malthus to Charles Darwin to Francis Galton to Margaret Sanger to Rockeffeller, the IMF, and what the future holds for this science. I cover state enactments of eugenics laws and programs, quotes from world leaders, and the ideology as a whole.
