Hello, People of Purpose,

Welcome to season 3! This year we are breaking down our emotions and actively moving beyond arrogance, anger, pride, and fear. Up first is anger…yes I know a little heavy for the beginning, however we all experience this emotion. Some of us are emotionally balanced and, to maintain stability, we must regularly check in with ourselves. Achieving balance is a process. It is a lifelong journey of practicing thoughtfulness, kindness, and grace with ourselves and others.I pray you will come along for the journey as we dive deeper and examine through my testimonies as well as others what anger, arrogance, pride, and fear has stolen from our purpose.Grab your Bibles, journals, pens, and beverage of choice and let us get started. Are you afraid of failing? I know I am. That fear created debilitating behaviors. Once I acknowledged that I wasn’t ‘perfect’ God helped me to grow. Ask. Seek. Knock. Praying for wisdom, understanding, and grace while developing godly habits was the solution. It can be yours as well. Think about the things you haven’t given over to our Lord and Savior. Make a list if you need to. Once you’re finished pray for direction and clarity.

 Our God is an Awesome God!!! If we start giving praise for this day we will never stop worshipping our Lord.

Hello People of Purpose!

Have you had a moment that could only be explained as an act of God? I have had several. Today I share through, ‘Precious Lord’, a poem I wrote over a year ago. God is helping me use my voice for His purpose. The pain, shame, and guilt that the enemy reminds me of is not coming from our Lord. God forgives us completely when we repent of our sins and I am forgiven.

I pray as you listen to today’s episode and dig deeper through the Bible reading you will be filled with hope. God offers us the way to a fulfilling life through Christ. He is our constant.

How do you practice gratefulness? That was a question I studied over the past few weeks. Expressing gratitude takes focus, determination, and motivation. I wrestled with other questions such as: why be grateful?, who needs to be thanked?, why is my attitude towards gratefulness important?

As you journal and meditate on God’s Word I hope you will ponder these questions as well. Think about your gifts and talents. How do you share yourself with others?
