Hello People of Purpose!

  God is impacting how I am being used. Yesterday, on the Our Given Purpose YouTube channel (Talking on Purpose, with Torrie) I discussed emotions and how they play out on social media. God also led me to go through my Facebook friends list and say each name aloud in pray. Those two events impacted my attitude. My world became even bigger than the scope I was gazing through. The Lord helped me get a firm grip on my purpose. He can help you too.

Hello People of Purpose!

I am honored to present to you one of the voices behind G&F Property Solutions LLC. This company may sound familiar to you because it has been mentioned several times in previous podcast episodes. I am grateful for their support of  the Our Given Purpose® the ministry.  

When I reached out to Mr. Wiliams for an interview, he graciously accommodated my schedule. Through our conversations we were surprised to learn our birth dates are the same, hence why I refer to him as Twin.

Hello Purposeful People! 

As you listen to ‘Go Get that Wisdom’ I want you to ask yourself have I ever said this:

* They drive like a bat outta hell!

* He is going to drink himself into an early grave.

* She is gonna get herself killed if she keeps being reckless.

* He is spending money like it grows on trees.

* They won’t let her keep sliding by without paying the mortgage.

* He needs to find something else to do with his life and stop chasing dreams.

If you’ve said any one of these statements or even thought them what wisdom do you gain from it?

The thoughts or prejudices we hold against others will not help them seek God nor will it help us grow. If you can think of a specific person to attract the above phrases to I pray you will (if you are led to) find a way to intervene. It will cost you some time and perhaps even try your patience but it will be impactful to the both of you in the end.

Hello People of Purpose!

I am truly understanding the power of our testimonies. God is stretching me in areas I didn’t think were possible. In my flesh God is still using me a sinner an imperfect being to show His great grace and mercy. His kingdom will not be stopped and I want to move with God and not against Him. My rebellion and disobedience were so dark. I couldn’t feel His Light at times. But I was called to Him. Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior called me to do a great work and I am thankful.

My dear Brothers and Sisters you have power within and are destined to work in His garden. There is always a harvest ready to be reaped. Take a few moments today to gather someone into the Kingdom of Christ. 

In today’s podcast Stephanie speaks about something near to my heart. Her transparency and obedience is something I admire. She too was called to action and doubted God’s reach. As you will hear as you listen to her journey of faith, sometimes all God wants us to do is extend the offer and leave the rest to Him.

I am so excited to be back! What an amazing time I had. I will be sharing more with you via the YouTube channel. But first, what’s new?

Hello Purposeful Family!

Time is something we can easily let slip away. We keep aging and prayerfully growing wiser. Hanging on to the past will not serve us if we continue to undermine our own maturity thus lessening the work God has done within us. There is a time for laughter and a time to be serious. It is time to get serious about the direction we are going. As we follow Christ’s example we also have others who are following ours. What legacy are we leaving behind?
