Why would we ever turn down an invitation to a banquet? God has prepared a banquet and Jesus is reminding people of their invitation, but there is a group of religious leaders who are not interested in attending. Jesus is aware that many of us have idols and distractions that keep us from wanting to be in God's banquet. Our invitation is to taste and see that the Lord is good.
