In this episode I have a conversation with my new friend, Yvonne Mitchell.  Yvonne is a cancer survivor.  As a result of her experience, she started a ministry called,  "Prayer Pillows".  She and her staff make pillows and distribute them to various outlets at no charge.  Most of the pillows go to local cancer centers for use by patients undergoing treatment.  Some of their pillows have shown up in far away places like the Ukraine border to comfort children in that war torn area.

I can tell you from my personal experience that the encouragement of folks like Yvonne helped me tremendously as I was in treatment.  I see it now in the face of others as they enjoy the love and dedication put into making these available.

In this episode I interview Dr. Ryan Fraser of Freed-Hardeman University.  We discuss his thoughts from his book, "Overcoming the Blues".

Dr. Fraser holds several degrees including a PhD in Pastoral Theology and Pastoral Counseling.  Dr. Fraser coordinates the pastoral care and counseling programs at Freed-Hardeman University.  He also has a private counseling practice specializing in care for depression, anxiety, OCD, addictions, and marriage relationships.

In this episode I discuss with Arthur Barry, an evangelist in Sayer, Pennsylvania on the topic of our hope for a better day.  We also discuss a bit about the difference between hope for and hope in.  

Arthur and his wife have been friends of ours for about 8 years.  We met as together we worked to establish a congregation in Tunkhannuck, Pennsylvania.  Arthur was part of that initiative as he also had been part of establishing the congregation in Sayer where he preaches and serves as a chaplain at a local hospital in Sayer.
