As we try a new studio setup for Anuvab and Kunaal, the conundrums are the still the same. The drama of small change vs the boredom of UPI, the unique challenges of actors dealing with freebies, and the awkwardness of receiving a 'discreet' package from Amazon.
Anuvab wonders whether it is courteous to hold a revolving door for someone, Kunaal wonders if it is even possible. The duo finally learn that every conversation has a cost, but are not sure whether it's daily or hourly.
Kunaal and Anuvab are in their new studio (Not sure if they are happy or sad about it) We also have a new plant along with the duo and we hope atleast that brings the podcast some luck. The duo finally unwrap the mystery of compound interest.
Anuvab has a conundrum inspired by recent family events; how does one technically qualify to be called an orphan? for e.g. is there an age-limit? Also featuring some listener conundrums, including the heartwrenching story of an unattended underwear at the New Delhi airport.
Anuvab and Kunaal are in their long-distance relationship mode. Anuvab is wondering if he needs to start focusing on some kind of shock tactics to get a larger audience. The duo wonder if Kunaal is more of a 'head full of hair character actor' or a 'bald character actor' and Anuvab finds himself in a soup (made from tea leaves).
This is an old Patreon episode. Anuvab and Kunaal will be back with a fresh episode next week.
As Anuvab travels the world and Kunaal....well, he is somewhere; the duo couldn't get the time to pore over their conundrums this week. To compensate for this very painful heartache, we bring you a FULL AUDIO RECORDING of the FIRST EVER "OUR LAST WEEK" LIVE SHOW, from way back in 2016 AD.
Anuvab & Kunaal go deep into how Indians deal with an operational failure - ranging from electric appliances to the Indian Railways (by slapping). Facing a power cut in the UK, Anuvab compares the transparency of the electricity departments in India & England. And while in the middle of haggling, Kunaal turns casting agent for a professional electrician.
Anuvab has a tale of an old man who volunteers to control traffic in Mumbai and which turns into a horror story about how this city makes you insane. Kunaal doesn't believe in rice casteism. And the duo ponder about how our AI selves can help us deal with telemarketers.
Anuvab shares his dream of gatecrashing a court at least once in his life, while Kunaal hopes to heckle in the Parliament one day. They recount the story of a security guard turned artist in Germany and the merits of having a quirk in ones profession.
