This week the fellas discuss the things around the holiday season that get under their skin from car commercials where the car is a gift, traffic, Die Hard deniers, holiday themed seasonal foods and drinks, building gingerbread houses, ugly sweater parties, cookie exchanges, to secret Santa/white elephant exchanges, they cover it all and then some. This week the gang is all back together (along with some Christmas spirits) to discuss the sequel (or one of many sequels) to A Christmas Story with A Christmas Story Christmas.  For some the nostalgia and love of the original was enough to make this one entertaining but everyone agreed, on it's own, it's just not a good film.  Sarcastro does a little research on the actor who played Flick and opens up a whole new film catalogue for Fatty to watch.  The fellas question how or why this had to be shot in Bulgaria while Sarcastro offers a minor story change that would have brought back Darren McGavin for a heartfelt moment and one last appearace as "The Old Man".     

This week the gang spends time discussing the traditions they have from November through January during the holiday season.  From Fatty's love of aging the same seasonal beer year after year and enjoying a bottle of the last 5-10 years in a single night; Sarcastro's tradition of going for a standing rib roast over the traditional protiens at Thanksgiving and Christmas; Banky's movie picks for rolling from Thanksgiving night into the spirit of Christmas, to Commando's must have side for his holiday meals they reflect on what makes this time of the year special to them. Commando also shares a recipe for one of his favor holiday drinks while Fatty gives a brief history lesson on egg nog. This week the group discusses scams from the letter Banky received about a dead relative and a ton of money, electric scooters, dust busters and those as seen on television items to the emails that Fatty's father still thinks may be legit.    Intro and Outro music written and performed by Andrés Rodríguez (Androzguitar).  

This week the fellas talk about board games old and new.  Giving the opinions on what their favorites are, most hated games and the types of games that should never be spoken of again.   Fatty and Sarcastro discuss their strategies when playing Monopoly while Corporal reflects on the game he's wanted to play that has eluded him since birth.   Commando tells tale of the gateway game that led him to Dungeons and Dragons and Banky explains that he plays Sorry strictly for vegence. This week the fellas discuss some of the little things in life that should be of no consequence but that irritate them anyway.  From theiving squirrels, mail-in rebates and self-checkout lines the POoRCHoices gang makes it clear that nothing is too inconsequential to get annoyed over.   Corporal finds a pair of workman's sweatpants that he must have and it sounds like he gets Fatty interested in them too. This week the gang gets together to talk about their memories of Halloweens past as well as what they do today as adults all while they rate the various types of candies very commonly given out during the festival of sugar filled offerings.  From mini candy bars, small boxes, small sleeves, gums and individually wrapped candies they go over their POoRCHoices in favorite and least favorite items over the years.    Intro and Outro music written and performed by Andrés Rodríguez (Androzguitar).  

This week the fellas discuss being fiscally responsible with their wallets but not so responsible with their livers.  From two drink minimums, Irish pubs, a speak easy and tailgaiting renaissance faires they reminisce on some of the more expensive nights they've had and agree that when it comes to imbibing, there's no better bar than your own home. Fatty discusses issues with the restrictions New Jersey has for their breweries and Commando gives us his best joke about the Garden State.  Also, Corporal discusses his trip to Dragon Con 2022 and solicits an idea to have the group attend next year.   Intro and Outro music written and performed by Andrés Rodríguez (Androzguitar).  

This week the fellas discuss what it would take to make an action movie and the result fits perfectly with the theme of making poor choices.  From casting Adrian Paul as the lead, having Danny DeVito play as Sarcastro as the sidekick and having Bronson Pinchot involved to explosions, revengne plots, and rescuing (or avenging) a niece or grandaughter, you can bet your bottom dollar this thing has direct to video Dadurday* movie written all over it. 

The most important lesson learned this week is that the gang is clearly ready for their pitch meeting.
