This week the fellas spend a little time with show favorites Frank Grillo and Gerard Butler in Joe Carnahan's Copshop.  A movie that based on the poor choices of it's characters that it's just a natural fit for the show.   Also starring Alexis Louder (The Tomorrow War); Chad L. Coleman (The Expanse) and Toby Huss (The Adventures of Pete & Pete). The group also discusses the slight drama that happened with the final cut of the film and propose a prequel for an Anthony Lamb story Also Fatty and Corporal declare their desire to see the Carnahan cut while Sarcastro waits for their review of it.  

This week the group revs it up into high gear with only four cylinders and are talking about the mostly live action film Monster Trucks.   A cautionary tale of the harm to the subterraneous life on earth by the drilling of "big energy" and the perils of dating the horse girl who is completely unconcerned that an underwater creature is powering an old beat up truck.  

Directed by Chris Wedge and starring Lucas Till, Jane Levy, Thomas Lennon, Holt McCallany, Barry Pepper, Frank Whaley and featuring Rob Lowe and Danny Glover.   Also the fellas come up with a POoRCHoices version of the movie where Jane Levy plays a serial killer and Danny Glover reprises his role as Detective Murtaugh hot on her trail.

The week the group brings "Caged Love" month to a close and there is no doubt that Sarcastro couldn't be happier about it.  The a premise of Prisoners of the Ghostland is so crazy that Nicolas Cage himself has described it as the wildest movie he's ever made.  Although, it left the fellas with a few questions including how Cage's character handled important issues like going to the bathroom for five days when you can't take off the leather suit or if things happened that people just don't talk about.  Directed by Sion Sono and co-starring Sofia Boutella, Bill Moseley and Nick Cassavetes this film has the rest of the group also questioning Banky's life decisions as he admits that he watched it three times in a 24 hour period.   

"Caged Love" month rolls on this week as the group watched and discusses Nic Cage in a movie where he may secretly be researching and practicing for his dream job after Hollywood as the propietor of a slummy hotel in Ken Sanzel's Kill Chain.  Also starring Anabelle Acosta, Erico Colantoni, Angie Cepeda, with Uber-stud Ryan Kwanten.  It's a movie so slow paced and at times slightly painful, some of the fellas start to question if in fact they've gone too far down the Cage rabbit hole.  Perhaps it was a poor choice to run this hard with the bit.... nah.  It's just getting good.  

This week the group continues the magic of "Caged Love" month with the 2010 love story, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, where Nic Cage and Alfred Molina fight over an antique nesting doll and Jay Baruchel has to take up the mantle of the Prime Merlinian, which sounds like an insult rather than a title with some gravitas. ​ Directed by National Treasure’s Jon Turteltaub and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, this story had the fellas considering putting an additional parental advisory on the episode.  Jokes are 100% NSFW and even less safe to listen to around the younglings.  Also in this episode Sarcastro gives the rest of the group a couple of ideas for gifts for his birthday or Christmas based on items in the movie. 

On this episode the group continues the theme of "Caged Love" month by picking up their torches and joining Nic Cage and friends in absurd plot to stop Sean Bean and his amazing hair from gaining treasures that were squirreled away by the Knights Templar, the Founding Fathers and Freemason in the film National Treasure.  Directed by Jon Turteltaub of Cool Runnings fame, it also stars Diane Kruger; Justin Bartha, Harvey Keitel and Jon Voight's hairpiece.   If the plot sounds ridiculous, that's because it is.  This is also a film that Fatty reminds us that everyone should inform their children, while based on historical plot points, it's historically inaccurate.  But even better it's what inspired himto plan his second career by taking tourists on his National Treasure tour of historic Philadelphia.

This week the group kicks of the month of St. Valentine with the theme of "Caged Love" where they talk about a Nic Cage movie that was released or filmed during one of his five marriages.   First movie up is 1996's The Rock a movie that as Corporal points out is filmed like a giant music video from the 90's and is chock full of explosions and snappy one-liners it just may blow your mind.  Directed by Michael Bay and co-starring Ed Harris; John Spencer; William Forsythe; Tony Todd; returing show favorite; John C. McGinley; and of course, the legendary voice and presence of Sir Sean Connery. (Which Banky needs to stop trying to mimic)

This week the group reveals they have no shame as they openly laugh and mildly enjoyed watching Rob Schneider and O.G. Survivor, Colleen Haskell in the most awkward of character romances in Luke Greenfield's directorial debut in a full length motion picture, The Animal.  Written by Rob Schneider and Tom Brady of The Hot Chick fame, not the NFL star quarterback (which exlpains a few things).  Co-starring John C. McGinley doing what he does best; Ed Asner making everyone a little uncomfortable while laughing; Scott Wilson, who once shared a flight with Sarcastro; and comedic treasure, Norm MacDonald making it worth sticking around to the end for.  

The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension --  This week the group gets weird with it as they discuss the movie with the possibly the greatest credits scene of all time, The Adventrures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension.  A movie so strange and nonsensical it broke Sarcastro's will to watch 80's movies movinig forward.  Starring Peter Weller, Elen Barkin,  John Lithgow, Jeff Goldblum, Christopher Lloyd, Carl Lumbly, Vincent Schiavelli  Dan Hedaya, and Clancy Brown.  It's a movie that just doesn't want to answer certain questions, like why is there a watermelon there?

This week the group is flashing back to 1985 with the Paul Reubens hit, Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, which somehow Corporal had never watched before but points out that Pee-Wee made the poorest choice of all at the start of the film and also is a terrible pet owner.  Directed by Tim Burton as his first feature film and scored by Danny Elfman it's the journey of a manchild hell bent on getting his bike back at any cost including attempted murder of his nemesis, Francis.
