I don't go into details about the Underground railroad mainly because I figure it was something we were all taught at some point in school. With that being said, i can do a quick into it before the month is gone. As always do your own research and enjoy.

  • Our World Our Time Ep mini 62 Breakin

Breakin is one of the five elements of Hip Hop. The others are Emceeing aka MCing, DJing, Graffiti and Beatboxing... Yes we started and own Beatboxing as a culture. This Breakin thing finds it's roots in the Spanish community of New York. It dates back to the late 60's early 70's and takes center stage in the early days  of Hip Hop. All August I'm representing Hip Hop. I'm not if all of you out there listening get down with Hip Hop like that but I do. This episode id about a major piece of the culture. Do your research and enjoy.

  • Our World Our Time Ep mini 61 Sesame street

Sesame Street is one of those things you rarely question how did it come to be. One day someone put you on to it as a young child and the impression it made stuck with you for life. We all know the theme song and how today's episode was brought you by the letter blah blah blah and the number blah blah blah. But I found out a while ago that all of this was put in play because people wanted Black kids in Harlem to learn. With all the craziness around the Sesame Place muppets bypassing little Black children I felt it was only right to talk about the beginnings. Please do your research and enjoy.

  • Our World Our Time Ep mini 60 Nelson Boateng

I come baring gifts with this episode. I say that because to truly understand how great this dude is you have to see his work. Nelson Boateng has taken plastic bottles and turned them into houses. Yeah, it has been done before, but the homes he is putting out look remarkable. I had to add a video with this episode. To see the video click here, here being my Wordpress page of the podcast. If you have comments or questions feel free to with me on Black_Ceez Blackceezarsonn or email me at [email protected]
