Big show as democracy slowly crumbles.

Human Rights activist Ruth Messinger is going to be in town

sharing leadership lessons gleaned from her decades on the

front lines of global issues at Spertus Institute for Jewish

Learning and Leadership on Sunday 10/14. She will be

joining us on the phone later this hour.

Oliver Aguilar, co-chair of this year’s ART FOR LIFE on

10/18, will be in studio to talk about the event.

Chicago International Film Festival is 10/10 – 10/21 and

features their Out Look series with LGBTQ films addressing

sexuality and identity. Mimi Plauche, the festival’s artistic

director, will be stopping by to chat about this year’s entries.
