This week on Out Of The Woods Radio, Woody, newly minted Unemployed Ian, and Producer Pete (aka Monger Man), sat down and discussed where things are at currently with their unemployment journeys. After a brief recap of how Studio A came to be, we get caught up on where Superbia (@Superbia.us) is headed after their Spring/Summer drop from last week. Later we talk a bit about Producer Pete's beat making ventures (@MongaMongaBeats) and the BS that is 360 deals in the industry.

Back to our roots this week as it's a Woody and Ian the (former) Intern duo pod, all about jobs. With both Ian and Woody in similar places in life - recent college grads, wandering about in the job market like two chickens with their heads cut off - the two discuss the joys of what it feels like today, in modern times, to be going through the process of trying to find a job. They talk advice, and how most of it is terrible, what they're looking for in a job or a career in 2020, the hiring process vs the training process, financial independence, and a bunch of other stuff as they try to process the dance of trying to convince someone to hire you. Hopefully you find something relatable if you're in a job hunt yourself, or thinking about going out and finding a new job soon. And if you're someone who tends to feel like they give out a lot of advice, especially on this topic, maybe there's some insight into how to be better at that going forward. Or maybe Yellowstone is going to erupt soon and this all won't matter anyway. Yikes, that got dark. Enjoy!

We recorded this a while back, believe it's date stamped in the episode May 21st, but didn't feel right uploading it last week with everything going on in the country, and rightfully so. There were definitely more important things going on that took up our time and attention, and even if we don't have the same numbers as other podcasts out there, doing the right thing is still more important than putting out a new episode on time, and we want to be a part of that even when it's not convenient. We're not looking for praise or a pat on the back, it's not about us, but we will work to be a part of the solution going forward. But now we're back, and hopefully uploading more regularly going forward. Thanks for listening, and if you just found us, please don't overly hate us, we still kind of suck at this podcasting thing, but we're always trying to get better!On this episode, after recapping the week(s), in an attempt to have some fun in the middle of the pandemic, we run through an activity that Ian the Intern and Woody are quite fond of; what would you do if you won the lottery? Some answers are quite predictable, others may be a bit perplexing, but either way none of us actually won last week. Maybe this week is our lucky break, but probably not.

We're not dead yet! Still hanging on during quarantine, the OOTW crew decided to green light a new music segment while waiting for stay at home orders to expire. Open Mic Night (working title) is a collection of songs that each member of OOTW has picked from their recently played playlists. Selection processes varied, and reasoning behind each song may be debated at a later date, but for now, hopefully, this helps pass the time until the next show.

Still stuck in quarantine, OOTW Radio is back with a double upload week. In this episode, Woody, Ian the Intern and Producer Pete, sit down to discuss the importance of planning and process, and how those two concepts fit into how they go about working through the creation and completion of their day to day tasks. How do they adapt, what happens when they reach a barrier, and how does it all come into play during a time like today when the world seemingly is at a stand still. But first, in relation to what has been keeping the three of them busy lately, they dive into what they each believe to be the best video game console of their lifetime. Let the debate begin.

Albeit quarantined and social distancing ourselves, OOTW is back with episode 9 as we stay inside for the foreseeable future. This week, Woody and Ian the Intern are joined once again by Producer Pete to discuss what they've been up to since the world seemingly shut down, plans both before and after corona-virus for Pete's upcoming 21st birthday, as well as the pros and cons of employee parties, although it's mostly cons. Hopefully by next pod we have a more uplifting outlook on life, but for now we'll just get back to washing our hands and supporting our local restaurants.

Anyway, OOTW Radio is back with Episode 8 where Woody and Ian the Intern take a stroll down memory lane, where they find themselves discussing what else, social media. Undoubtedly we all come in contact with social media in our day to day lives, and whether it's been MySpace, Facebook, Instagram or TikTok, how we use social media probably says more about us than anything these days. Hopefully there's a few things you remember about our stories from the golden age of social media, and maybe you even feel tempted to go and log in to that old MySpace page from 2006...

After recapping the week and building off the end of episode 6, Woody and Ian the Intern break down one of the main staples of what they hope Superbia LLC one day looks like; Superbia Skate Team. Digging into what inspired us to venture into the world and culture of the skate community, we hope that our conversation/brainstorm session gives you insight into how an idea turns into a concept, and what all goes into making it work. And why those early conversations and plans can be important to the overall process, even if down the line it doesn't turn into anything. As they say, you'll never know if you don't go...
