  • 142: Dave Breakenridge on media's refusal to say beheading

What made the internet angry this week?
Making the best of a bad situation with technical difficulties Dave Breakenridge returns to the show. We salvaged the show which Dale explains in a short intro. As a News Insider Dave explains why some news organizations are unwilling to call the France attack a beheading and have gone for softer language such as “Knifed to death” in their headlines. Dave and Dale talk about the time they both worked at the Calgary Sun. Dave gives the listener behind the scenes account of some of the decisions that go into what information should be put in a newspaper as events unfold. While discussing the Hunter Biden email scandal Dale comes up with a campaign idea to run for politics in the Ukraine. Twitter has banned sharing the article on their platform and we’re not ok with that.

  • 141: Adrian Mack on Qanon

What made the internet conspiratorial this week?

Adrian Mack makes his third appearance on the podcast and we stray from the usual Outrage Factory formula and instead of talking about current events trending we get deep into conspiracy talk centering on Q Anon. The guys talk about the overall topic of Conspiracy theory and even how that term has become a weapon of disinformation. Facebook scrubbed it’s platform of anything Q Anon. Adrian runs through Facebook’s relationship with Atlantic Council. Adrian talks about pre cognition. Dale reads a short summation of what Q Anon is believed to be. Adrian talks about Capitol Hill Blue which was supposed to be a high level insider during the Bush administration who was supposed to know about George W. Bush’s secret vices. Adrian explains how Q Anon is either an Intelligence project or is Intelligence adjacent and is meant as a disinformation tactic to keep us from looking into many conspiracies including Epstein. There’s no such thing as the Illuminati kids. Left hand and right hand magic is confusing. People new to conspiracies should do some background research so they can build up their foundation. Everyone should listen to Tim Dillon’s interview with Whitney Webb. The left is constantly being played by the right. Adrian explains Chapel Perilous. Chaos is being sewn so people will lose faith in the democratic process.

  • 140: Scott Graham

What made the internet angry this week?

This Week we are joined Scott Graham (https://www.youtube.com/c/wflbc). Scott is giving up on most social media and after watching “The Social Dilemma” he won’t be alone. Cancel culture should have a path to redemption. Trump is all over everything this week. The presidential debate was a new low for American Politics. Trump and a bunch of republicans test positive or COVID and people think it’s fake and the guys weigh in on if they think he has it and his likely hood of surviving if he does. Trump’s dumb taxes. Trump tweets that he kept his hair from eating MacDonald’s fries. Tampa Bay Lightning win the Stanley cup in the bubble and immediately upon their arrival in Florida try their hardest to spread COVID. A UK zoo has to take 5 parrots off of display because they were swearing at the public.

Derek makes his long awaited return to the podcast as the boys host Kristyl Clark from Valleymom.ca. Billboards popped up around Vancouver urging parents to have fewer children. Derek researches the carbon footprint of dogs. Are blind date photos a good idea? Our kids are watching terrible youtube content and need to go back to good old TV. The governor of florida wants to open everything up but even worse he wants College kids to have a normal college kid life without any repercussions for breaking covid protocol set up by the school. Kristyl shaes how bad the COVID test really is. Kristyl explains her marcus gunn jaw wink. The head of Marlboro says he doesn’t see cigarettes being sold anymore in ten to fifteen years. Are people doing Halloween this year? Apparently Krityl can’t be frightened even by the haunted corn maze.

  • 138: Kate

What made the internet angry this week?

Dale is joined by Kate from the podcast “The After Party: with The Sober Kates”. This week we discuss: Celebrities froze their accounts for 24 hours as a part of the #StopHateforProfit campaign which was organised by civil rights activists and nothing was cured, stopped or improved.  Dale and Kate outline how you’ll get better results from your social media if you just click on positive stuff and get rid of toxic people out of your timeline. Chinese database details 2.4 million influential people. The modern problems with data mining on the internet. Go google your name and scrub anything bad that comes up. Go search your name on twitter and see if you have made any bad tweets ten years ago and get rid of them. As World Police go, the USA is Dale’s favorite. The trials and tribulations of reading books. Dale manspalins breathing and then explains what periods are. There are rumours of a cereal killer in Toronto but that’s just sensational reporting. Kate watched the movie Cuties but Dale didn’t because he was scared of being put on a list. Dale and Kate discuss the over sexualization of underage girls. My octopus teacher is good. Orcas are awesome but at the same time giant assholes. Being on a sailboat that was being attacked by Killer Whales would be a living horror. What is even scarier than that is Chimpanzees wielding stone weapons and riding on Orcas.

  • 137: Reporter Nick Greenizan

What made the internet angry this week?
Reporter Nick Greenizan joins Dale on the podcast this week. Chris Evans showed his donger to the entire world by accident. Dale talks about his new headphones. The guys trash Alberta cold. The NFL started on Thursday September 10th in front of 17,000 live fans who booed the Black Lives Matter moment of silence. The craziness of meeting a racist out in the wild. Trump signed an executive order that basically says if the USA wants to mine in space no-one is allowed to argue. The guys discuss Armageddon and a possible sequel. Dale once again implores Hollywood to remake all Arnold Schwarzenegger movies but starring The Rock. Fast and the Furious in Space, Dale is onboard. Remember when you had to buy weed from scary dudes instead of just on the internet. Oscars are going to have a diversity clause to be nominated for Best Picture. The XFL should have themes based on the movies The Rock has been in. The trials and tribulations of mixing sushi with various wiener meats. Halloween is a go in BC but what will that look like during COVID. The bliss of not knowing things. The guys come up with the best punishment for losing a Fantasy sports league.

    Lightning Round:

  • 136: Game Builder Andrew

Game builder Andrew joins Dale on the podcast this week. The guys discuss Derek’s injury and why he’s still away from the podcast. Dale struggles with technology and navigating Facebook. Who makes the best Subs. Andrew tells us about his experience working in the Video Game Industry. Dale admits he only plays Call of Duty to unlock the different gun camos. Joe Exotic has released an underwear line to celebrate the 2 year anniversary of his arrest. Carol Baskins is going to be on season 29 of Dancing with the stars and the cast actually has some appeal… besides her. Why would anyone watch reality TV when actual real life is so crazy right now. Jim Gaffigan comes out hot against Trump on twitter which is uncharacteristic for Gaffigan but almost cliche for celebrities in general. One Riverdale actress is a crybaby loser for comparing the filming of the show to being a Prisoner. A different Riverdale actress is a legitimate hero because she helped the FBI fight human trafficking by going undercover. Are there a lot of purple vibrators in the world or are purple vibrators just over represented in the media.

    Lightning Round:

    • Is Britney Spears being held against her will?
    • PayPal closes the Russian accounts linked to the website Peace Data.
    • Dale doesn’t know the difference between discourse and discord.
    • #pokemonmastersex
    • John A. Macdonald statue ripped down

What made the internet angry this week?

Cheese Monger Matt joins Dale this week on the pod. Matt regales us all with his announcer voice that he didn’t think would be included on the podcast. He then shares his cheese knowledge with the audience. Dale gets extreme cup envy at Matt’s realtor mug which has his face on it. If you’re in the Vernon area visit the Wedge Cheesery and support Matt and his lovely family. Who would have thought the downfall of the United States would start in the midwest. We discuss Kyle Rittenhouse shooting three people and everything wrong with the whole situation in Kenosha. Bella Thorne tricked perverts into paying her money on Onlyfans and never gave them nude pics. The guys go on an underwater welding and Deepwater Horizon tangent. • 134: Shawn Berke

What made the internet angry this week?

The studious Shawn Berke joins Dale on the podcast this week. The guys age themselves by struggling to understand exactly what Tik Tok is. Speaking of old we’re all hobbled. Wall-E is starting to look like it was a warning of our future but we’re still going to get on the Amazon Colonizing ship. Old conservatives don’t like women singing about sex, specifically their Wet Ass Pussies. As grown men we want to warn the youth that the rhythm method and the pull out method can still make someone pregnant. Apparently everyone hates Mike Milbury and even though he probably shouldn’t have a job this one specific incident where he said women are a distraction to athletes is not that bad of a take. The guy from Squid Billies is an absolute moron racist and should leave Dolly Parton alone. The guys talk about their struggle with enjoying content put out by people who have been cancelled. Dale is ok with Louis CK and Shawn is still listening to Michel Jackson but can’t bring himself to watch Kevin Spacey. Jason Mamoa is so hot and if aliens were going to clone humans to repopulate the earth they should jut go straight to him.

  • 133: Adrian Mack Returns

What made the internet angry this week?

Adrian Mack joins us from his palatial estate over on Salt Spring Island. Canadians invented the music genre Americana. Which statues is it ok to take down in the southern US. Adrian being proven right about the existence of aliens and the world being secretly run by a cabal of pedophiles is the most unsatisfying I told you so ever. The DNC is tone deaf in hiring the Clintons to be speakers at their convention. The DNC owes us a public apology for handing Trump two presidential terms.Adrian is sick of being part of the political dialogue because it is far too stressful. Dale explains why Joe Rogan is the most important man in media. “Black lives matter but orgies of white guilt don’t.” - Adrian Mack. Adrian has nothing but contempt for the DNC and the shit libs telling you to vote for Biden. Performative white liberal guilt needs to confront what happened in the 60s with the assassinations of all the progressive leaders that had a purchase on the electoral mind. Nickleback has a new album coming out. Adrian exposes their formula of combining new country sound with rock and roll to become famous. Everyone thinks Ellen is a dickhead and she probably is but that’s what it takes to get famous. The only reason Dale is not famous is he wouldn’t be able to keep it secret that he prayed to the owl god. Check out Adrian’s music video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OvUvKVzm6K4. Snooker is an incredibly great thing to get high and watch on TV according to Adrian.

    Lightning Round

    • Canadian brewery apologizes for beer named 'pubic hair' in Maori
    • Budweiser and Coke sponsoring the Sturgis Biker meetup
    • Smashmouth could be the key to every conspiracy ever.
