This is a great interview (about 40 min) about Zensa numbing cream (Zensa lidocaine cream) with Nabil Khan, Senior Sales Development at Alera Skin.
We sell Zensa lidocaine to our clients at Spa Olivia to use prior to laser hair removal, waxing or sugaring if the client wishes to reduce any discomfort from treatments. The cream is applied at home and they come to the appt with the cream on covered with a layer of saran wrap to help the cream absorb. This is for the client's benefit (easier, more comfortable and quicker service) as well as our benefit (upsell, easier, more comfortable and quicker service)
We discuss the creation of Zensa and how we were introduced to this product. We met Nabil at the Montreal ESI spa show in 2016 and we have been a client ever since. Nabil and I discuss:
Alera also has a post treatment cream called Zensa Healing Cream which is an all natural product with an NPN (Natural Product Number) from Health Canada. It can be used post eczema, psoriasis and rosacea and can be found in the first aid aisle at your local pharmacy along with other vendors.

Luba is Bryght's CEO and Founder, and she has been in the beauty industry for over 20 years with experience from retail, to National Cosmetics Manager of a Canadian beauty chain, owning 2 beauty salons in 2 countries, and now CEO & Founder of Bryght. In 2020 Luba was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer, and as soon as her oncologist said, “Your skin is going to burn, peel, blister, and hyperpigment... Make sure you use Vaseline” She knew that Bryght needed to create products that were specific for Cancer Patients and that are; safe, easy to use, all-natural, vegan, and scent-free for other cancer patients out there that wanted to feel normal. Luba immediately thought, "Heck, Bryght already specializes in hyperpigmentation for the most sensitive areas!" That’s when she knew she could really make a difference; this was her calling, this was her purpose.

We respond to the most common reasons we fail in selling retail.
We give you real examples of how to use clients pain points to sell the product they need and will use. We talk about some of our favourite products in our own business ie Zensa numbing cream.
