OUTSMOKEN

We all thought it would be the strains they claimed. Turned out, it was the BRAINS. With so many major players involved in the legal cannabis space, everyone is out to protect their innovations. whether it be with their drug formulations or methods of preparation, everyone wants to stake their claim to cannabis IP. We saw the first patent on cannabis formulations with GW Pharmaceuticals and Epidiolex, the first scientifically tested medicine derived from cannabis. And as the space develops, we can only anticipate more to follow. Join @elijah__avery the digital budtender, @_n_x_t_j_e_n_, and @meyyerv as they discuss Cannabis and Intellectual Property on Outsmoken, the world's most potent podcast.

We are back with another STRAIN REVIEW! We got our hands on a classic strain, Kosher Kush by @urbanblazela to see what all the hype is about. We love us some LA flower, so we're taking a closer look at this upstart Urban Blaze to see how it stacks up to some of its Top-Shelf counterparts. Now that there are two markets to the cannabis space here in California, there’s a really dope phenomenon that we had the pleasure of experiencing for the first time: The Secret Sesh. Now, traditionally, you go to your shop, you show your ID, you get walked in, Security, etc. You get walked through the choices, you make a choice, you go home!

These Secret seshes are COMPLETELY different. You pull up, lowkey, You flash your IG DM, and then you enter what can only be described as a cannabis swapmeet. Packs on Deck, Edibles on Deck, A bunch of unique strains and product lines all vying for your attention. Tune into today's Outsmoken, where Elijah the Digital Budtender and Meyer discuss what the experience is like! Engineered by @_n_x_t_j_e_n_

To be honest, I don’t think aliens exist. I think the idea of finding “intelligent life” is a misinformed question that fails to acknowledge the breadth of types of existence here on earth.

For example. I’ve seen clips of dogs talking, dolphins and elephants painting, but never humans speaking elephant or otherwise meaningfully interacting with “intelligent” life’s existence here on earth. So if we can’t even sufficiently empathize with the higher order systems here on earth, we won’t even begin to understand an 'other' that originates on another galaxy and treat it equitably.

We enjoy that sweet Almora Farms flower and discuss the nature of the universe itself. Tune into Elijah the digital budtender and Meyer on today's riveting episode of OUTSMOKEN. Engineered by @_n_x_t_j_e_n_

Let’s be real, as a stoner, there’s not a lot of things that feel better than having a whole zip chillin in your stash. When you have it, you’re free to enjoy it as much as you like, to roll one for your friends, all that. Shopping in the legal market, its hard to find the ounce would make you smile the way we used to.  When we went to XXXXXX we coulda copped ozs with BIG NUGS. Top cola shit. Stuff that just makes you feel bomb. But in the legal market, the industry makes too much nickel and dime-ing those big nugs. These eighths are going for 95 DOLLARS NOW. I better get a big nug in that jar! So we aren’t getting too much bounce in these ounces now. In a market where we were used to paying 250 for some gas, the legal market has pushed the price for premium quality stuff up to nearly $400 an oz! In today's OUTSMOKEN, Elijah the digital budtender discusses the oz purchasing experience in the legal game vs from your local cultivator with Meyer. Engineered by @_n_x_t_j_e_n_

The vaccine is here and as things are starting to open up, will we see a renewed interest in the cannabis space ? As it stands now, many tourists and casual consumers don’t have any legal recourse to consume in places that are not their home. And there are dangers of consuming other places like your car that would be cause for concern. Now that we’re getting closer to a post-corona california, would you be willing to visit a public consumption lounge? Tune in to today's Outsmoken with Meyer and Elijah the digital budtender as they discuss this brave new world we're entering! Engineering by @_n_x_t_j_e_n_

We try to tap into our [EMOTIONAL] sides to talk about cannabis and dating, and how our favorite flower has played a part in our romantic lives! We all know cannabis is an aphrodisiac, but does it enhance romance? Has the stigma come a long way in helping partners cope with each others cannabis use? @elijah__avery and @meyyer discuss all this and more on the world's most potent podcast! Engineered by @_n_x_t_j_e_n_

"So I’m speaking primarily from experience. One of the things I love most about being a part of the legal industry is watching new brands attempt to penetrate the market to win the hearts, minds, and attention of consumers. Everyone is trying to be the next cookies. The next jungle boys. The next green dragon. And, whether we like it or not, the way a majority of consumers shop, before they know anything about the brand is THC percentage. So my question is this, can you trust test results?

"I know that Labs are supposed to be impartial, objective arbitrators of cannabis legitimacy, but let’s face it, there is no institution above reproach. Is it that far of a stretch to think that the numbers may not be a true representation of what we’re getting?"

Join @elijah__avery and @meyyer as they discuss how lab tests affect the integrity of the industry on today's episode of the world's most potent podcast! Engineered by @_n_x_t_j_e_n_
