Over Your Dead Body Trailer Starring Samara Weaving & Jason Segel

IFC Films has released the first trailer for Over Your Dead Body, a dark revenge comedy and action-thriller hitting theaters on April 24, 2026[1]. Directed by Jorma Taccone (Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping)[2], the film is an English-language remake of Tommy Wirkola’s gnarly Scandinavian comedy The Trip[2]. It stars Samara Weaving and Jason Segel as a highly dysfunctional and toxic married couple who travel to a remote woodland cabin under the guise of repairing their marriage[1][2]. In reality, both are secretly plotting to murder the other[1]. However, their respective assassination attempts are derailed when they must team up to survive an unexpected interruption[1] from a trio of dangerous home invaders[2].
