Tired of striving for an image of perfection at work?Want to stop feeling like you don’t quite fit in where you are?Do you actually know that you were wonderfully made, but still get caught in discouraging thoughts? Have you ever experienced rejection at work and immediately started questioning yourself? For neurodivergent women with ADHD, ASD, AuDHD, OCD, dyslexia, or other neurodivergent experiences, years of feeling different, misunderstood, corrected, or rejected can contribute to workplace insecurity, RSD, masking, rumination, self-doubt, and low confidence.
In this episode, we’ll look at three biblical truths to keep in your back pocket when rejection affects the way you see yourself at work: God is for you and no one has greater authority than Him; what was intended to harm you can be turned around for good; and God intentionally made you “mysteriously complex” and “marvelously breathtaking.” We’ll explore these truths through Romans 8:31, Genesis 50:20, and Psalm 139:13–14, including the story of Joseph and the importance of understanding and working with your neurodivergent brain rather than only focusing on its challenges.
