  • E69 - Monster Musume (Ch.1-17)

So, I guess people on the internet really like monster girls, and it seems like people have decided to cash in on this with an ecchi manga about a young man named Kimihito Kurusu (Darling) finds himself engaged in an inter-species cultural exchange with an ever-growing crew of monstrous ladies. Like all harem logic, they find themselves attracted to their host, and the ever expanding household devolves into countless schemes to win the coveted position of Darling's wife. Also, the world-building is stretched just thin enough to justify the premise, and snaps if you try to stretch it any further. This week, Matt, Sam, Jae, and Jacob read and discuss Monster Musume by Okayado.

  • Discussion - Power-Scaling

My favorite anime character can beat your favorite anime character; or why Goku could beat your dad in a fist fight! Why do nerds on the internet fight about things that don't matter? Like can Saitama beat Goku? Can Superman beat Batman? Can Deadpool beat Horikoshi?

These questions and more might be answered, as Matt, Sam, and Jacob take the week off to have a roundtable discussion on the subject of power-scaling.
