Overnighters

Our road to the Season 1 finale has begun and it’s a doozie! JB Greenway stops by the store while on vacation to “show off” his new girlfriend, but something seems fishy. Malcolm is in between a rock and a hard place and Brian is left with a choice on whether he can support him or not. Luca plays a game with milk crates and Arny is there because he’s scheduled to work.

Checking in with a few things before we kick off the final episodes of season 1 on….(just listen to this 2 minute clip for the date, jeeze)

MID SEASON FINALE. Every tale has an origin and Overnighters is no exception. This week, follow Aldo as he provides the audio from his maiden voyage to Greenway’s Grocers. This is the beginning and this is how things came to be.

CHRISTMAS IS HERE! Well actually, it’s Christmas eve, and despite a snow storm that closes the whole city down, Greenway’s remains open. Surprisingly, everyone isn’t upset about it…everyone except Luca that is.

Arny is the freestyle king of North Bank with nothing to prove and Malcolm is the store manager of Greenway’s who thinks that rapping is simple. What do those added together equal? Rap battle. Arny’s friend, Shlong, come into the stores, drops a beat, and the two go at it. Who takes home the pride and glory?

We’re taking the week off! Miss any previous episodes? Now is the time to go back and listen! Only 3 more shows till our mid-season break.

Ever wonder what it’d be like to have a homeless person cook you dinner? Wonder no more! JB has to step in while Malcolm is out sick, and Arny holds onto a past grievance between himself and a hobo that was hired for temp work in the store. Oh, Luca and Brian are there as well.

It’s the 50th Annual Greenway’s Grocers Cart Wars and excitement is in the air! Luca made it out of the gauntlet alive and is ready to compete against reigning cart champion, Missy Steiner. The overnight crew may believe in him, but will their faith be enough to push Luca to the top spot? Will Brian get a date with Missy? And what in the world happened to Terry? Don’t miss this one!

The tribe has spoken and it’s Luca’s turn to try his hand at the Greenway’s Cart Wars. Malcolm, JB, and Arny put him through a series of tests to see if he has what it takes. What if he doesn’t have what it takes? Well, he’ll probably still compete anyways. Part 1 of 2.

Sales are down and Malcolm opens a nightclub in the store to attract a new, younger crowd to Greenway’s. JB works on initiating the new hire, while Arny secures a substance of sorts to help pick up the pace of the night.
