There is plenty to discuss as the Bills head to Los Angeles for Monday Night Football. Can Josh Allen bounce back against the Rams defense? Will TJ Sanders suit up for the first time this season? And what are the chances that DJ Moore and Ed Oliver play on Monday?

Jim and Owen discuss the upcoming game between Josh Allen and Jared Goff. Can the Buffalo Bills find the answers to the Rams offensive machine? #BILLS #BillsMafia #BuffaloBills #BillsNation #BillsNews #JoshAllen #dailynews Monday Night Football pits two recent MVP quarterbacks against each other when the Buffalo Bills (3-1) visit the Los Angeles Rams (2-2) at SoFi Stadium. Josh Allen and Matthew Stafford headline a prime-time measuring stick between teams with Super Bowl ambitions, with Los Angeles favored by roughly a field goal in a game projected to clear the mid-50s. Buffalo arrives looking to steady an offense that has slipped out of rhythm the past two weeks. After an early surge, the Bills managed only modest production against the Chargers and Patriots, and the loss in New England dropped them a step behind in the AFC East race. Coordinator Joe Brady still has one of the league’s most efficient scoring attacks—nearly three points per drive—and wants Dalton Kincaid more involved alongside James Cook, DJ Moore, and an emerging Keon Coleman. Cook has been explosive, ranking among the league leaders in yards per carry and explosive runs. Allen remains an MVP-level dual threat, capable of taking over with his arm or his legs when the script breaks. The question is whether Buffalo can string positive plays together against a Rams defense that ranks near the top of the league in yards allowed. Los Angeles is coming off a comeback win over the Eagles that offered a glimpse of what Sean McVay’s group can be after an uneven start. Stafford struggled at times in that game, but Puka Nacua’s return gives the passing attack its preferred centerpiece next to Davante Adams. Kyren Williams has also become a major receiving threat out of the backfield, and Tyler Higbee remains a reliable option in the heavy personnel sets both clubs favor. The Rams lead the league in 13-personnel snaps; the Bills rank second. That shared preference for multiple tight ends could shape the trenches all night. Defensively, the matchup hinges on pressure and coverage working together. Buffalo’s Jim Leonhard needs the front to affect Stafford, who has been vulnerable when hurried, while covering Adams and Nacua. Ed Oliver and Christian Benford are among the Bills’ injury questions. For the Rams, Byron Young has stepped up as a primary edge threat, and Aaron Donald is hopeful of returning to join Kobie Turner up front. If that line disrupts Allen’s timing, Los Angeles can control the night. Both sides need the result. A Rams loss would drop them under .500 in a tough NFC West; another Bills defeat would widen the early gap in the AFC East. Expect a tight, high-scoring affair decided by who protects the ball and who makes the last explosive play. #BillsMafia #GoBills #RamsHouse #NFL #MNF #JoshAllen #MatthewStafford #JamesCook #PukaNacua #DavanteAdams ______________________________________________ https://overreactionbuffalo.com Follow us on Twitter: https:// twitter.com/OverreactionBuf Follow us on IG: https://Instagram.com/OverreactionBuf Follow us on TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@OverreactionBuf Follow Joe Miller on Twitter/X: https://twitter.com/@joemillerwired Watch Joe on the Overreaction Postgame Show, Off Tackle with John Fina and Hump Day Hotline (Homage affiliate link https://homage.sjv.io/AWLzQo) Follow Jerry Ostroski on Twitter/X: https://twitter.com/@Ostroski_BigO Watch Jerry on the BIG O Show, Overreaction Postgame Show, and On the Beat Follow John Fina on Twitter/X: https://twitter.com/@JohnFina Watch John on the Off Tackle with John Fina Show and the Overreaction Postgame Show Find all the Overreaction Buffalo Sports web content at https://overreactionbuffalo.com and https://linktr.ee/OverreactionBuffalo Overreaction Discord Community- https://discord.gg/mHsCMqf8 Be sure to subscribe to stay up to date on all of the Overreaction Buffalo shows! The Buffalo Bills are heading west, and suddenly there are a LOT more questions surrounding this team.
Coming off a bad home loss to the New England Patriots, the Bills now travel to Los Angeles for a showdown with the LA Rams at SoFi Stadium. Was the Patriots loss simply one ugly performance—or did it expose problems that could follow Buffalo throughout the season?
On this episode of the Overreaction Buffalo Sports Report, the guys break down what went wrong against New England and what Joe Brady, Josh Allen and the Bills need to fix before facing the Rams. Can Buffalo's offense get back on track? Can Jim Leonhard's defense respond? And which Bills players need to step up as Buffalo looks to avoid letting one disappointing loss turn into something bigger?
We'll preview the biggest Bills vs. Rams matchups, keys to victory, players to watch, predictions, and whether Buffalo can walk into SoFi Stadium and make a statement.

Rivals at the Table is the weekly AFC East podcast built for people who live inside the division and are tired of hearing outsiders explain it to them. Once a week, voices from the Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots, and New York Jets sit down at the same table—hosted by Overreaction Buffalo—to go over last week’s games and look ahead to the next ones. No national talking points. No polite distance. Just four rivals who know the schemes, the slights, the coaching staffs, and the standings because they have to.Every episode starts with the tape from the previous Sunday (and Monday). Who actually won the game versus who won the press conference. Which coaching decision aged well by Monday morning and which one is already being walked back. The Bills side will defend a late-game sequence the other three call reckless. The Dolphins voice will argue that a flashy stat line hid a real problem. The Patriots representative will treat a one-score loss like a moral victory until someone at the table refuses to let it slide. The Jets take will usually land somewhere between “we’re close” and “stop saying we’re close.” The point isn’t consensus. The point is that each team has to answer for its week in front of the other three. Then the show turns to next week. Remaining schedules get mapped against current form. Injury news is treated as either an excuse or an opportunity, depending on whose locker room it came from. Must-win labels get assigned and immediately disputed. Division games on the horizon get extra time because everyone at the table understands that beating a rival counts twice. Listeners hear how Buffalo sees Miami’s offense this week, how New England reads the Jets’ front, and how the Dolphins think the Patriots will try to slow the game down. It is scouting plus grievance, delivered in the same conversation.Overreaction Buffalo keeps the hour from turning into four separate podcasts. The host sets the board, forces follow-ups, and makes sure no team hides behind a talking point for the full episode. The tone is loud, specific, and unapologetically local. If you care about the AFC East, you already know these arguments. This show just puts them in one place, every week, with all four sides in the room.Come for last week’s scoreboard. Stay for next week’s fight.#BillsMafia #GoBills #FinsUp #MiamiDolphins #Patriots #GoPats #Jets #GangGreen #AFCEast #RivalsAtTheTable

Josh Allen the Buffalo Bills are no longer unbeaten — and this one hurts.
On this episode of The Aftermath on the Overreaction Sports Network, former Buffalo Bills offensive linemen Jerry Ostroski and John Fina join Zig Fracassi to break down Buffalo’s frustrating 29-26 home loss to the New England Patriots. The Bills fell to 3-1 after surrendering 405 yards and allowing Drake Maye to throw three touchdown passes, including the game-winner to Efton Chism with just 1:50 remaining.
Now that there’s been time to digest it, what actually went wrong?
The guys dig into the film and examine the problems on both sides of the football: Buffalo’s defensive breakdowns, New England controlling possession, the inability to close out the game after taking a 26-21 fourth-quarter lead, and Josh Allen’s costly interception on the Bills’ final possession. They’ll also discuss whether Joe Brady and his staff were outcoached and how much concern there should be about a defense dealing with mounting injuries.

Josh Allen and the Bills suffer their first loss of the 2026 season, falling 29-26 to the New England Patriots in a frustrating AFC East showdown at Highmark Stadium. Buffalo drops to 3-1 after allowing Drake Maye and the Patriots to answer a late Bills touchdown with a game-winning drive. Reuters
On the Overreaction Postgame Show, the guys break down everything that went wrong. Did the Bills underestimate New England? What happened to the defense against Drake Maye? Why couldn't Buffalo generate consistent pressure? And after Josh Allen and Keon Coleman connected for a 34-yard touchdown to give Buffalo a 26-21 fourth-quarter lead, how did the Bills let the Patriots march back down the field and steal the game? Coleman was a major bright spot, finishing with 6 catches for 116 yards and a touchdown, while Allen finished with 253 passing yards, a passing TD and a rushing TD before a late interception ended Buffalo's final chance.
Was this simply one bad Sunday, or did the Patriots expose weaknesses that could become a serious problem for the Bills as the season continues?
Sound off in the comments — who deserves the most blame for the Bills' first loss of 2026?
