Today's episode crosses off another name from the Overtime Podcast vision board and is long overdue. We have Will Toms, co-founder of RecPhilly and Tim Montgomery, head of A&R at RecPhilly. Will and Tim kicked it and brought us back to the very beginning. We discussed Will and Dave Silver (co-founder) meeting in high school science class, the Broad Street Music Group days and up through present day. Will also takes the time to address failures he's faced along this journey, and dispel several rumors about himself and RecPhilly (disclaimer: He is ACTUALLY from Philly). Although Nick has had an exceptional level of success in the business, he is most proud of the impact he has been able to make in the communities surrounding the cafes as well as the uplifting environment within them. Next moment, he's inking a deal to provide 13 free jazz events in the city of Philadelphia. Oh, and he's doing all of this while on tour with Christian "King" Combs as his manager.
