Dave answers a few questions (Thanks HNW!) about where you need to be to Own Your Good. Questions like, "How do you balance life and family and everything?" and "Where do I start?" It's tough to sum up, so give it a listen. It's not too long!

Dave has the star-struck opportunity to chat with Robison Wells. (Check out Variant and Feedback)
Every conversation is geared to helping people figure out what they could do as a hobby. Robison Wells is an example of doing things to maintain a sense of well being. They talk about pursuing hobbies on a budget and that anyone can do something that they love. Parents should support their kids (within reason) regarding the hobbies that they enjoy.
Don't be afraid to try new things. If you believe that you can do it, you will. You can.

It's been a crazy whirlwind of an experience producing this podcast! I've had so many awesome conversations with people who are truly doing amazing things in their lives.
The rest of 2020's episodes are even more exciting to me! I feel like I've done the hard part of starting, and now it's just keeping the machine running. People have been so gracious with their time and sharing their stories!
Keep listening, and do your best to Own Your Good!

In this episode, Dave talks with Daniel McConkie, co-founder of H. M. Cole.
Daniel has some amazing experience and insights from spending time in another country for a church mission. After those two years, he started his college experience thinking that he wanted to do one thing, only to switch mid-semester and begin another totally different path.
What does it take to run an international business? How do you know when to change what you're doing? How do you start something new? Daniel has some great insights into these questions, and how to respond to the unknown(like a pandemic)!

In this episode, Dave talks with Westminster College Professor Chris LeCluyse about his love of Early Music, the English language, and his research regarding Dungeons & Dragons and student writing. He reminisces about the music of Guillame de Machaut and how it sparked his love of early choral music.
His current research involves student writing and how the student "changes characters" depending on the assignment just as people change characters when playing D & D.
