At Friday's coronavirus response briefing, Governor Asa Hutchinson reported an additional 678 new cases of COVID-19, including 669 community cases, making for the highest single-day rise in community cases yet. Washington County reported 122 new cases, Benton County had 68 and Sebastian County had 33. The Northwest Arkansas Land Trust has purchased a 300-acre parcel called Blackburn Bluffs Preserve, west of the scenic I-49 Bobby Hopper Tunnel. The preserve is adjacent to Rotten Bluff Hollow, a privately owned NWARLT- conserved 725-acre property, which together create a wilderness area through which wildlife can pass safely under the interstate. The acquisition also anchors ongoing efforts to establish the Boston Mountain Wildlife Corridor, connecting a state park and two national forest

The annual CODAawards recognize commissioned artworks from around the world that are expertly and creatively integrated into a public space, architecture or an interior space. This year's People's Choice nominees include North Forest Lights, a collaboration between Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art and Moment Factory. Voting continues through June 30.
