Ozone Nightmare

Today on the 5: Today marks 1 year since the PC release of a video game called Chernobylite. I backed this game on Kickstarter, which can be a very hit or miss gamble when it comes to games. That makes it all the better for me to say I've been having a really great time with this game!

Today on the 5: My wife and I have been watching the Paramount+ series Evil. I have almost nothing bad to say about the show, but there is one thing I'm concerned might erode our enjoyment in the long run.

Today on the 5: Among the many trailers from San Diego Comic Con was Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Watching it was remarkable in that it was one of the worst trailers I think I’ve ever seen. While I don’t like trailers that tell the entire story of the movie, I generally expect to have some sense of what the hell is going on!

Today on the 5: I finished the first season of the Netflix Resident Evil series. While it definitely has flaws, overall I found it to be a pretty good show. It benefits from some great actors and manages to do some typically difficult things well.

Today on the 5: I watched the new Resident Evil series on Netflix, and overall I thought it was pretty good. I was expecting to be in the minority on that based on many reviews and what seemed like low enthusiasm about it, but I guess it was more popular than I anticipated.

Today on the 5: You may seen the new trailer for The Munsters, or possibly you've just heard how much people hate it. At first I understood why, but after seeing this episode of Hat Hole Home Video and thinking more about the target audience, I'm wondering if this movie might do very well.

Today on the 5: After being hugely let down by watching Shortwave for Len Kabasinski's Tubi Tournament horror series, I prepared myself to be let down by 2019's The Antenna. Plot twist! It was great!

Today on the 5: As part of Len Kabasinski's Tubi Tournament horror series, I watched a 2016 film called Shortwave. After a really solid start, the movie spends the remaining time getting worse and worse.
