Today on the 5: Over the weekend I watched a low budget horror film from 1987 called Psychos In Love. While I can't pretend it works all the time, when it does it manages to deliver a good time with a pretty neat premise.

Today on the 5: The second episode of season 2 of Picard came out last Thursday. While there's not much that happens in "Penance", what we do get feels like vintage Mirror Universe material, and that's still working fine for me!

Today on the 5: There was some surprisingly positive news that came out recently in regards to the OnePlus phone operating system. After announcing that OxygenOS was going be replaced by ColorOS, it seems that customer feedback has reversed that decision.

Today on the 5: The group that oversees one of the fundamental mechanisms of the internet declined a request by Ukraine to cut off Russia from the internet. While this may have felt like a just punishment for what's happening, it likely would have harmed as many of the innocent people as the guilty.

Today on the 5: I made no secret of being underwhelmed by the first season of Picard, but once Q was announced for the second season I knew I would be watching. The first episode of this season gives us a Picard that at least feels far more like the character I remember from TNG, and that's a good start!

Today on the 5: Epic Games announced yesterday that it is buying the wildly popular music independent music seller Bandcamp. While the usual statements about independence and autonomy were immediately made, we all know where this is leading.

Today on the 5: Reviews for The Batman have been coming out,  and one element popping up in some of them the timing and dourness of the film. It's not the timing or tone of the film that is a challenge for me, instead it's that I'd like a new take on the character.
