Today one the 5: I really didn't need any more evidence that Google is a largely aimless company now, but the Launch Night In event provided more anyway. The 30 minute speed run of new product announcements should make anyone wonder why Google bothers with hardware at this point.

Today on the 5: After watching and adoring the first Kolchak movie, The Night Stalker, I knew I had to see the sequel. I am extremely happy to say that 1973's The Night Strangler builds on the strengths of the first movie and just keeps improving.

Today on the 5: Thanks to another excellent recommendation from Len Kabasinski, I watched a truly spectacular movie called Fight Of Fury. As Len so accurately pointed out, this is another Miami Connection and I loved every minute of it.

Today on the 5: After 6 seasons, the CW series Supergirl will be coming to an end. While I'm sad to see this fantastic series go off the air, it may actually be a good thing and I hope we'll see the character return in the future.

Today on the 5: Based on discussions I've had recently about The X-Files, I decided to finally watch the Kolchak TV series that largely inspired it. That series was preceded by two movies, so I started with the first one, 1972's The Night Stalker.

Today on the 5: Thanks to a mention by the ever reliable Mr. Mobile, I picked up the MOFT Z laptop stand. I wasn't sure how much I would use it, but when I have it has been proven to be a perfect solution. 

Today on the 5: We have been getting more and detail on the intentional moves made by Boeing that led by two crashes of their 737 Max aircraft. Now we'll see whether any real action results from that knowledge, but I think we already know the eventual outcome.
