Ozone Nightmare

Today on the 5: This Polygon post about the Muppets paired with my viewing the older Muppet Show episodes really got me thinking about how they could work better today. In my view, those episodes show exactly how to do it.

This week we're talking about Siri, Immortal Hulk Volume 7, The Falcon And The Winter Soldier, and Death Promise. Show music by HeartBeatHero and OGRE. Support the show!

Today on the 5: The Outriders launch went about as expected, and the game has continued to have various issues that are frustrating players. This game once again makes me wonder why anyone preorders games or puts up with persistent online requirements.

Today on the 5: Over the weekend I discovered a truly wonderful movie from 1977 called Death Promise. This low budget gem has it all: sincere effort, a direct message, and a wealth of baffling decisions. Also, a lot of yelling.

Today on the 5: Documents coming out as part of the Epic versus Apple lawsuit are shedding some light on how Apple thinks. One item that has recently been making the rounds confirms that Apple could have released iMessage on Android, but didn't. The reason why is what's strange to me.

Tonight I'm joined again by Audi Sorlie, game producer, author, and contributor for Digital Foundry. In this episode we're talking Tiger Claws, 88Films, Cynthia Rothrock, and Hong Kong Legends.

Audi's Movie Remaster Wish List:

1. Hard Target
2. Armour of God
3. Robo Vampire

Audi's Game Music Spotlights:

1. YU-NO
2. Keishi Yonao
3. Power Blade

Show music by OGRE. Support the show!

This week we're talking about Immortal Hulk V6, Green Lantern: Intergalactic Lawman, Superman: Up In The Sky, Godzilla vs Kong, and Last Gasp. Show music by HeartBeatHero and OGRE. Support the show!

Hey gang, I stopped by Len Kabasinki's Fist of the Filmmaker podcast to talk about his Indiegogo campaign for Pact Of Vengeance! The campaign is live now and you can help bring this film to life!

Today on the 5: After the fairly successful release of Godzilla vs Kong, there is fan momentum for continuing the Monsterverse idea. If that does happen, it presents an interesting question on how to handle future films.

Today on the 5: I followed up the very fun Godzilla vs Kong with a movie that ended up surprising me quite a bit. Last Gasp may not be a good movie in the conventional sense, but it keeps the viewer off kilter just enough to be compelling.
