Today on the 5: The move that many people (including me) expected well before now has come at last. Disney is suing Midjourney over alleged piracy via their AI tools, and I would guess many artists couldn't be more conflicted on rooting for the House Of Mouse to win.

Today on the 5: I watched Equalizer 2000 and Raiders Of The Sun for an upcoming episode of Len Kabasinski's Forgotten Movie Den. It's been a long time since I've seen these movies, and I've never watched them back to back before. They're basically the exact same movie!

Today on the 5: When the first details and trailers for Predator: Killer Of Killers came out, I wasn't sure I'd bother watching it. After seeing the rave reviews it's received, I should at least give it a watch. Turns out all those great reviews were right!

Today on the 5: Paramount has announced that Star Trek: Strange New Worlds will be ending after 5 seasons. The news came just ahead of Season 3 debuting, and while some may take that as bad news I think it could be a positive development.

Today on the 5: Yesterday I talked about my genuine excitement over the iPad updates announced at WWDC. Another aspect that many others have been discussing is Liquid Glass, the new design approach. In this case, I see both sides of the arguments on whether it's a good change.

Today on the 5: Apple's WWDC events are generally pretty skippable for me as they usually focus on prodcts I either don't use or have changes that don't really matter to me. The news this year got my attention because it seems like Apple is finally going to get the iPad closer to what it could be, or at least closer than it has been since it launched.

Today on the 5: For our movie review this week, Lando and I watched Black Cat 2, the 1992 sequel to Black Cat. You'll find sharply divided opinions on whether the first movie or the sequel is superior, but in my view it all comes down to what kind of movie you're in the mood for.

Today on the 5: I was looking through the magnificent Criterion Channel film selections and saw one titled Gypsy 83. I'm not typically much of a "coming of age" film person, but this looked different and since it's Pride month, I figured why not see how it is. Turns out, it's pretty good!
