The series was apparently meant to anchor a number of new explorations of the High Republic era, so the show being axed has led to some uncertainty as to what comes next. Here's an idea! As you might expect, this has been very well received by many creators. For several reasons, I do have to wonder whether this stance will last.

While it seems at least some of this was the result of confusion on who these terms were directed to, I'm not sure there's all that much to be upset about here.

Today on the 5: Actor Colm Meaney recently commented that not every character needs to be return in modern Star Trek. Thinking back on how little I remember about Picard season 3, I have to agree and would much rather Paramount spend some cash on a proper remaster of Deep Space Nine!

Today on the 5: After watching a movie that was in many ways a paint by numbers production, I went in the completely opposite direction by watching 1967's Wavelength. Described by some as the most experimental film ever made, it's a unique experience that kind of warped my brain a bit while I watched it.
